More bots - More AI - Less trained support help - Brand registry
As a buyer I was looking for a dethatcher & scarifier this weekend.
Even though most say “ProGreen” anyone & everyone has a brand…so annoying

There’s more but I stopped on page 4 and gave up. It’s the same item!
I feel the turn was 2018 - 2017 you could get help and support help you fix issues then every year after that it became harder & harder.
And support that still exists, spends most of their time supporting sellers who should not be selling on Amazon in the first place.
This reminds me of this:
Still going strong! Remember we had a thread going on the OSFE on this…
I remember that, as well as the many predictions, therein, that nothing would be done unless Amazon’s hand was forced - by an outside agency, or public outcry - to rein in this particular reign of error.
Judging from the sales volume(s), seems those who said so were rather prescient.
The whole system is broken
Please know that we have completed our review for the brand, “Goodcook”. You are now allowed to list products globally (across all marketplaces). You may now create new ASINs for brand “Goodcook”. Please allow 24 hours for the changes to reflect, after which you can create an ASIN for the product you tried to list using your preferred listing method. Continue to comply with our ASIN creation policy as you create new ASINs.
Declined but your good to go! huh?
I do not want to go down a rat hole, but it seems to me that the outside agency will serve to propagate the reign of error in the interest of preserving competition.
What has happened in the past two years has been a deluge of sellers who bring no value added to the site, and have overwhelmed the already inadequate Amazon management team.
The whole system is broken
You’re not a kiddin’!
Even on stuff that supposedly doesn’t matter-or isn’t seen by buyers. Worthless Voice of the Customer which in my opinion, is no more than VOICE of the ILL-PROGRAMMED BOTS. Could AMZ at least have a VOICE of the SENTIENT BEINGS?’
Buyer e-mailed us about a possible INR. Since we don’t get many of these, didn’t give him the templated spiel but promised to have USPS check their GPS the next day when we went to the P.O. We exchanged several cordial e-mails; interrupted only by TPTB prompts. LOST PARCEL?/ UNHAPPY CUSTOMER?/ QUESTION about MERCHANDISE?
The next day, he emails us, saying he received the parcel. Gave us a positive feedback, too. Next week, he contacts us, wondering if we have more of the same detective series(he wanted a particular translation). Sound like an unhappy buyer? Prompts occur every time he emails.
VOICE-of-the-CUSTOMER-says our interaction was VERY POOR! His FB is right on the front page, under his name. It’s not worth trying to explaining to SS-but I suppose we’ll lose the BB, TPTB use any excuse!
I tried it again for a test and the same results! Declined but your good to go!
A is not talking to B
You guys have to stop this stuff - I keep having to stop what I was doing, and go find some paper towels to wipe the coffee I spit all over my screen.
Have you waited the 24 hour period and then tried to create a listing for each of those brands?
If so, did it accept the listing creation?
Wondering if the case program has a problem with the status being updated/changed to the correct status ???
A lot of the time … there is a selection made that is in a data file with an associated number. When the page looks up the status, it is usually done by this number. If there was some code update and the reference number to status type was corrupted, then the site would display one thing while the back end had the intended status.
If the back end matches the email “good to go”, then you would be able to create listings with those brands.
Possible theory is just possible theory because it is Amazon.
yep it did Anyone need a Spider Wok Strainer?
How strange of you to ask! I just got one I ordered on Amazon a few days ago, at the recommendation of one of a cooking site’s emails.
