OTDR Miscalculation?

My OTDR is rarely below 100, I saw this on my Account Health page and downloaded the report.

On-Time Delivery Rate

without promise extensions

Target: over 90%

Time Window: 14 days Promised Delivery Date : Sep 17, 2026 - Sep 30, 2026

**

94.44%

**

The report shows one order delivered on the promise date - why the metric ding ??

(pick one H or F based on your personal language tolerance)

We’ve seen that a few times. Check the hour.
When we’ve seen that the expected delivery time was midnight, so effectively Amazon was expecting delivery the day before (9/25 in this case). Actual delivery time was likely during the day on the 26th, so the day after Amazon wanted it there.

If that;s not the case, then this is likely another Amazon fluke!

You are correct.

I just looked at the actual order:

| Deliver by: | Wed, Sep 23, 2026 PDT to Fri, Sep 25, 2026 PDT

The report’s promised delivery date should be the last date shown in the delivery window, not the day after. Why don’t they think like normal people.

AI doesn’t think and Amazon doesn’t hire normal people.

Sadly this is not an AI issue. This is a right hand/ left hand issue that has been pervasive throughout Amazon for a long time.

As the others have noted, it’s the HOURS involved. You need to expand the info to show the times they expected – which defy all possible logic!

Also note the time zone Amazon is reporting in … GMT

6:59:59 GMT is 11:59:59 PM on the previous day in Pacific Daylight Time (PDT, UTC-7)

In my case it was easiest to just look at the order.* Delivery window ended on the 25th, it delivered on the 26th.

Seems the time zone is involved also. Driven by PDT

Promised 9/26/26 06:59:59 GMT (9/25/26 23:59:59 PDT)
Actual 9/26/26 23:14:00 GMT (9/26/26 16:14:00 PDT)

Apparently the delivery address is GMT. So how does it get delivered there at 46 minutes to midnight? 23:14:00 GMT Carrier’s Scanner set wrong?

once past 1500 hours I have to get my fingers out for 24 hr time conversion.

And may be intentional. As with measuring THE GAP

Handling time is measured in days. Unless Amazon needs different results in order to punish you. Then it is measured in minutes.

It’s OK, we all know that sooner or later it will be measured in “delight.”
