Performance Max, Google Ads experience?

Does anyone have experience with google’s performance max ads, which now work directly with Amazon?
Reddit hates Pmax, and I can’t find much info about it.

*Background: sales are dropping as buy boxes are disappearing. I’d like to start a shopify store, but before that I want to try all options of bringing traffic to Amazon. Thanks for any insight =)

We haven’t used this version of Google Ads but we have use regular Google Ads to drive product on our website. We did fine with it … but, like with all ad campaigns, you will have to monitor a bit to fine tune it to get results.
