The pesticide bot took down 6 of my ASINs in 2 days, claiming that they are pesticides.
1 notebook, 1 highlighter, 2 ballpoint pens, 1 pen nib, 1 ink.
I am very confident that they’d be reinstated, it’s just annoying that I have to spend time on this…
Weirdly, only 2 of those showed up as Restricted Products Policy Violations. The rest of them just went into stranded inventory without showing on my Account Health page.
Several years ago, 20 or 30 listings of my handmade jewelry were suppressed for being a pesticide. I guess if you’re a bug, everything looks like either food or a pesticide, and the bots decided I wasn’t selling food.
Everything from water valves to rubber belts to steam gauges to pipe solder has been flagged as a pesticide. You either deal with the Amazon Time Tax or you give up on those ASINs.
