Re people being unable to start new PM’s.
So our security here is that newer users can not send PM’s to prevent spammers. We had a plugin that allowed said new users to still send messages to staff so they could get help, but apparently a recent update broke it. It broke it so badly that it prevented any user from creating a new PM!
So I have disabled that feature (in this update), but newer users are still prevented from sending PM’s.
If you see a new user in need of help, please tag one of us staffers and let us know, (I believe) we can still initiate a PM to a new user.
