How does the WFS preferred carrier work with a Prep center?
Lets say my items are at the prep, do i WFS the item on walmarts platform and then the walmart truck drivers go and pick my items from the prep center

Walmart only has 1 partner carrier and that’s FedEx for both SPD and LTL.
If item prep is required, you set that up as you set up the shipment - similar to Amazon.
LTL WFS Pickups are scheduled during shipment creation, you need to make your own appointment for SPD pickup (at a cost), or drop off at a FedEx dropoff location.
Excellent question, @dflores - and Welcome to the SAS!
It works the same as if you’re doing the prep, except you use the prep center’s address instead of yours.
Also, you should be asking this question to the prep center. One job for a prep center is to know how FBA and WFS work. If they can’t answer all your questions about this then they’re incompetent and you should not work with them.
yeah, the prep center has channels where you can sync your items you want to ship and they take of it and printing and downloading the labels (But only for amazon) (it says custom channel and you can only type walmart but cant sync anything from walmart)
I would contact the prep center and if they don’t seem like they ever worked with WFS before I’d find a different prep center. You want a prep center that knows all of the inbound policies for the service so you don’t get hit with violations if they make a mistake.
for sure ill email them.
Hi @dflores do you have any updates to share, from your prep center or from getting it worked out?
