Product label redesign concern

I am considering a product label redesign. FBA has product with old label. Is this going to cause problems & complaints if A+ content shows product w/new label when someone receives a product with old label. Would simply stating 'product label may vary" resolve this? Please let me know your thoughts.

I see this ALL THE TIME on Amazon. Sellers use listing image 3 or 4 showing them side by side and it might not be a bad idea to just add a module for A+ to point it out to avoid issues.

Simple “New” / “Old” side by side images with packaging may vary noted underneath the images.

Leave it up for at least 3 months after you think the old inventory is gone because it’s FBA…

And one might consider changing the SKU on the new packaging stock …

I was going to change my logo. My solution for now is to put a sticker on products that have the new logo telling customers: “New logo!”

Now sure if it needs to be fancier: “Same product, new look!” or whatever.

Not sure

Or maybe “same product, new logo” specifically?

Either way, communicating to your customers that this new thing doesn’t change any material old thing is good business. :100:

I wonder if the “New Version” functionality offered up by the “Adding or removing newer model link on detail page” widget/tool @ https: //sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/solution/WF_NewVersionWidget (link ‘broken’ for display in the Discourse Platform which powers these SAS fora) might not be a better approach?

As a customer, I’ve seen those links. They take you to a new listing. I would want my customers to buy then and there. Besides, the product is the same, just different logo on the package.
