ETA: :thinking::thinking: You know, the indictment mentioned unindicted co-conspirators Clients-1-4 and Consultants-1-2, iirc. I wonder if we’ll see any other indictments directly related to Ed’s cooperation with the DOJ.

Remember, Amazon employees were potential witnesses, too.

Good Point, they colluded with Amazon! Amazon employees, and thus Amazon itself facilitated this devastation and destruction of sellers.

I will stop there, but I have seen over the years, businesses, families, and how this type of crime against humanity can cause the end for those innocent victims.

I never expected Ed to serve any time.

I am not sure he should.

I am not sure I care.

Have I ever had to deal with competitors who violated the law? YUP

Did I rely on the legal system to protect me? NOPE

Did I expect a day of reckoning for them? Not in this life.

Would any outcome of this case have brought me joy? Only if I felt inclined toward Schadenfreude

When I was young, I knew people who “were connected to the mob”. They were very nice people. They treated those who were not the enemies well. You knew they did things which were illegal, but it was not evident from everyday dealings.

I could have made similar decisions to them or to Ed. But I am different. But I have been aware for a long time, that there but for the grace of God, go I. (Funny because the religion I was raised in, lacks the concept grace).

Exactly. And the unfair disadvantages other innocent Sellers had to face from his paying off more storage space, or quicker reinstatements, or getting competitor supplier info, etc?!

Or when whole listings were sabotaged because former clients weren’t paying?!

And wth is G&G talking about? The court ALREADY DECIDED and ED ADMITTED that his actions were wrong.

Thank you for that important correction/update.
I must wonder though about all of those he groomed and taught with his extensive knowledge and information how to take other sellers’ down so he could then “come to the rescue” to restore those accounts. For a fee of course. Those people are still out there and unidentified (I know of two specifically)
There’s that pocket in Brooklyn. Another pocket in Lakewood NJ. An entire population. Anyone local there understands. (I know ASV knows what I am talking about) . Now they have Amazon as a wide open playing field.
Ed and his minions were 100% responsible for what happened to my account many years ago. I have to wonder how many thousands were harmed and taken down and did not have the understanding and ability to get their accounts restored.
I remember that very long conversation with Amazon and my son pointing out exactly what was done, how they did it, naming all the players (legal names) and their accounts. One was already in jail at that time for other “offenses”. Yet his Amazon account was still active and selling. And he’s still selling today.
As our friend Lake said (and I say all the time ) “There for the grace of God go I” yet I can never see myself causing intentional harm to others.
(sigh)
I hope whatever the Universe feels is appropriate retribution comes to Ed in a hefty dose.
