Quick question on shipping oversized FBA items

It’s been a while since I don’t ship oversized items to FBA, but we just received a product that we purchased at a deeply discounted rate from the manufacturer and it is 30" on its longest side. Per Amazon’s requirements, “A box may exceed the 25.0 inches if it contains a single oversize unit that measures longer than 25 inches. If this is the case, then the box must only contain one single oversized item and must not be significantly longer than the item dimensions”

I’ve seen this before, but am still able to create a shipment with Send to Amazon with 6-unit cartons without problems. Not sure if a disaster is waiting to happen if I ship it like that. Advice from FBA sellers who’ve recently shipped oversized items would be appreciated.

We have a rubber poker table mat that is considered “Large bulky” because the single item box measures 36.25 x 4.25 x 4.25 inches.

We send to FBA using LTL (pallets) only. Never UPS Ground, only freight trucking.

We ship 6 units per master box.
Master box measures 37 x 13.25 x 9.25 inches.

No issues with shipping master boxes of 6 units via LTL.

Side Note: remember, Amazon uses dimensional weight when it’s greater than the unit weight to calculate fees.
