I was confusing the Account Health Assurance Cutoff of 250 with the “healthy” Account Health Rating of 200. My bad.
Welcome to the SAS! - I’m always pleased to see long-time forum vets like you find this one.
Counterfeit without a Test Buy can be a severe violation, as it generally indicates that the IP RO recognized by Amazon is either a member of Brand Registry’s Project Zero Program, or a 1P Seller (Vendor Central Program), or both - which is likely why the Violation Level is “High Impact.”
Still, I agree with the idea of waiting to see if it does roll off before addressing it.
Appreciate it!!! Thanks for the info…it’s good to see that posters in the know are still here!!! FWIW, the violation didn’t disappear immediately, but my AHR went from 248 to 256 overnight…so my AHA (Amazon Health Assurance) is no longer in jeopardy! Out of curiousity, if violations like this counterfeit w/o a test buy can’t be contested/appealed to Amazon’s standard since I don’t have invoices for reselling used books, would you ever acknowledge the violation through Amazon’s appeal process?
One other question, is there a way to identify ASIN’s that are a part of Amazon’s Project Zero program? I would assume not, but wanted to ask. As you have seen with many other veteran or rookie Amazon sellers, it is such a helpless feeling when you list a used book for sale, and will always worry that the fate of your seller account/livelihood is out of your own hands. Providing an invoice for a used book listing is impossible…literally.
I’d never heard of the Project Zero program until you mentioned it…and that’s after 15 calls with seller support & the health assurance team at Amazon.
Again thanks for your help now and in the past!!
Glad to hear it!.
Acknowledging a violation includes the promise never to sell that item again, but since you can’t fight the violations, you won’t be able to sell them anyway.
I have acknowledged violations a few times just to make them go away, and there does not seem to be any lingering repercussions. If a seller has lot of repeated violations or lots of violations of the same kind, it might be different.
