Comments, Feedback, and Ratings about Sellers

If a customer asked us, we would just refer them to the link above.

We would not provide unless it was asked for. Otherwise, Amazon might view it in a negative way.

The CHC (“Customer-facing Help Content”) page “Remove Third-Party Seller Feedback” @ Remove Third-Party Seller Feedback - Amazon Customer Service includes instructions for this, and we’ve used it successfully in the past by linking that page in B-SM messages.

That said, we haven’t had to use this for several years, and during that time I’ve seen more than a few reports that the process has actually been changed - perhaps as many as two (or more) times since we last used it…

Got the answer @Lost_My_Marbles link was correct.

Though a better link (Direct to the “Completed Feedback” tab) is (sign-in Required)

https://www.amazon.com/hz/feedback/list

Here the customer get a list of prior feedbacks and can remove.

On a Phone it looks like this…

and clicking Remove it looks like this …

Thanks All

OH, and for laughs, I called Amazon, and they sent me an email with directions that do not come close to working - figures

I’ve always hated the snooty little “don’t feel pressured to remove feedback just because the seller asked you to”….is there really a need to explain to adults that they don’t need to do something if they don’t want to?

I receive little negative “Feedback” but in the last couple weeks have had 3 that Amazon refuses to remove. One was a nasty one from a buyer who admitted and apologized in message system that they left it for an item purchased from another seller. Two today were from buyers who ordered customized sizes that did not fit (one calling me a SCAM). Customized products are noted no return on the order page and although I informed buyer it was not MY policy and provided them with prepaid return labels, Amazon still would not remove them.

The feedback system is so broke with no common sense available when proof is provided.

Now I just received an account risk notice for the 3 negative feedbacks. FU Amazon. Rant subsided but still living rent free in my head. :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

I am currently at the lowest I have been in years – 90% – since almost no one leaves feedback and I have THREE that are a “1”.

All three are for items the buyers claim they never received despite the PO showing delivered.

The one that takes the cake is the one where they SIGNED for it at the PO!

In their feedback they even admit that – “Never received item, USPS tracking says delivered, individual pickup at postal facility.”

That one is getting reported to the Postal Inspectors for fraud.

This happens far too often and I never understand how people manage to do that.
I mean, the “Sold by: XXXXXXX” is literally right under the product title in the order summary.
You would think if they’re upset enough to leave bad feedback they’d at least try to find out who they actually bought from… :woman_facepalming:

We recently also encountered a buyer who left 1 star feedback stating that the “Very good” used book they received was hardly even “acceptable”, and was even more angry that they’re most likely out the original shipping. We don’t sell used books. We don’t even sell books! They bought some brushes from us…

So we were left with 3 (actually 2) choices:
A) Let the feedback stay to affect our feedback rating and post a public reply explaining the situation.
B) Let Amazon strike through the feedback (It’s FBA) and make us appear as a bad FBA seller using the cheat code to remain a high feedback rating.
C) Contact the customer to explain the situation and ask them to consider taking down the feedback for us and leave it again for the right seller… EXCEPT WE COULDN’T. Out of the 6 reasons to send a message, 4 of them were greyed out due to “This order is not merchant-fulfilled.” 2 of them were greyed out due to “This buyer has opted out from receiving non-critical messages.”

Well… Of course we have chosen option B.

I have two buyers trying to remove feedback. The buyer account dashboard is horrible and the average Amazon buyer does not seem to be able to Google much less copy and paste a link.
