The package was scanned as delivered about 1200
Didn’t get my mail until 1537
Still no package.
I am hoping that he will come back and deliver the package separately but either way I think I will be having a conversation with the manager about the drivers scanning packages as delivered before they leave the PO.
So where do I stand with Ebay for this?
I had a mailman, when he was too busy, or the day was too long, he’d mark stuff delivered but not actually finish his route. It would be in my mail box the next day. He did that twice and I called my post office each time telling them I got it the day after it was scanned delivered. Needless to say I had a new mailman soon after…
Oh, Ebay will do nothing for you as a buyer if it shows delivered…gotta talk to the post office.
I am the seller It’s a return, but I have not actually received the return yet.
Wait till end of day Monday see if it shows up, otherwise call/visit your local post office/postmaster with tracking number and they can normally “see” (GPS) where it was scanned as delivered
That happened to me once and Ebay carried the cost of the lost return.
Ebay will proceed to refund your buyer whether you actually received the return or not.
There is a lot of false delivery addresses scamming going on on Ebay, with orders and returns. You will need to discuss where the delivery occurred with your PO and that the GPS data on the scan says. Don’t rush to dump on the driver, yet.
In our area, FEDEX Ground is the big offender in scanning days before delivery occurs.
Fortunately it showed up today.
New guy scanned it in the PO then Left it there. The manager had a nice conversation with him.
