If so, the ‘simplified default’ URL for the CHC (“Customer-facing Help Content”) “Look Inside the Book Program” (“LITB” in ‘Amazonese’) page remains what it has been for many years:
that’s some sort of help page that comes up for me, not a forum post?
well, if anyone has a list of forum URL’s that don’t work anymore, I’ll be happy to update what I can…
Yep, it’s the Customer-facing Help page for the LITB Program (in ‘Amazonese,’ “Feature Doc 335”), which I archived in simplified form when our friend Lake posted it years ago in that old OSFE thread.
Maybe one day we can compare notes on how to look up the old links and set up a tutorial type thread for SAS members to use …
Right now it is like tossing a Google search or some wild NSFE searches against the wall to see if anything sticks …
that depends. If you saved those bookmarks within your internet browser, then each has a creation date. Every URL contains the title of the original post. That, along with the date the bookmark was created, should make matching it quick and easy.
I want to update this thread with some info I just realized …
The answer is yes!
I saved my page of bookmarks and was a little puzzled why some of them worked and others didn’t. I found that the difference was whether they were for the OP or a response down the line.
SOLUTION: Remove the final characters which reference the post.
i.e. - https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/t/amazon-business-consultant/1298011/12
… becomes …
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/t/amazon-business-consultant/1298011
The latter will get you to the Thread itself. After that you have to scroll down to post 12 ('ish depending on deleted posts) to find the one you want.
Admittedly this is a huge Snipe Hunt, but it does work to at least get you into the thread without having to change the date range and search within the NSFE.
It seams Amazon only indexed the main OP with forwarding data.
Terrific! Just what I had hoped for. Thank you so much.
Well … at least some of them anyway.
I’m not sure date wise, because my [Informative] Bundling … Bundles … creating them using plain English … by Oneida isn’t working for me, so I’m checking prior to 2022 (and on).
Yes, I’ve noticed over the last 10 months that some of my hundreds of Jive- & Discourse-hosted bookmarks will not yield to the technique you’ve discovered - I suspect that Amazon may simply have removed any access to them.
I haven’t been able to decipher a cut-off date - some of those I find inaccessible are from 2017 or earlier, but some are much newer that that.
I’m currently wondering if they even exist, those that aren’t working, and have been deleted.
I can’t find my old - [Informative] Bundling … Bundles … creating them using plain English … by Oneida thread.
Linked here but goes nowhere.
Yepper, that’s one of the tuts I first looked for, after the NSFE went full-bore 25Jan23, which I’ve so far failed to locate.
My records indicate that I last updated the bookmark on 11Jan23, during a several-week period where I was creating a new, more streamlined catalog of the ones I’ve saved over the years, but that when I went looking for it on 27Jan, the URL didn’t redirect.
During the months when I was waiting to join SAS/SellersAskSellers, I tried a few tricks for finding that & other tuts that went poof with scant success, so I’ve shelved the project for now, with an expectation of looking again come next spring.
Even a Google search of the title leads to a dead end as Google will take you to this thread
Where @oneida_books reference the link in a post …
The link is in OSFE format and is a dead link when clicked.
To us, it is as if Amazon has selectively cleaned house to posts it doesn’t want found.
I’m beginning to suspect that might indeed be the case, because the nature of the threads that I can no longer locate seem to fit that pattern…
@oneida_books did you manually delete that one on OSFE, before moving to NSFE?
Nope … I didn’t delete any.
@oneida_books maybe whatever this glitch is, is what happened to your missing topic?

59 minutes agoHello @Seller_Jrclapko54Nkz- Can you please tell me if you are still having this issue? Is there a thread title or portion of the post you do remember? This will be helpful in the troubleshooting on our tech teams end.
Kindest regards,
Veronica_Amazon
My profile seems OK, but as I posted in another thread I do see it with other profiles.
I don’t feel like this could be related though. Also, those posts were in another profile, since I chose to start fresh.
