Send to Amazon adding product to shipment

Created a shipment yesterday (using seller central’s ‘send to amazon’ workflow) for one of our prep customers. We don’t have permissions to create a case on this account or I would.

I was figuring out the best way to ship to FBA (single or multiple SKUs) and decided on single SKU. In the shipment are 17 identical shipping boxes with a single SKU.

This morning I’m looking at the shipment (after we’ve printed shipping) and it says there’s 2 SKUs and 18 boxes.

The extra box is a mixed SKU box (2 SKUs). One of my scenarios was to ship this mixed SKU box, but I deleted these units from the workflow, and verified it (see 1st screen shot).

Anyone have anything like this happen? Any ideas as to how it happened? [I was the only one working on this shipment, and we’ve been using STA since it was introduced.] I just cancelled the shipment (had 45 minutes left), so that’s not the concern. I already double check multiple steps in the shipment creation process, but what?! Adding a SKU and a mixed SKU box to my shipment?

I’m trying to be move clever than Amazon, but today I feel like I’m failing.

I have not had this happen however, I would have done what you did and canceled the shipment. When you rebuilt it how did it work out?

You’re not the first one in the last 48 hours to see wackiness with STA. Most likely a glitch.

It’s not you, it’s THEM!

Yes. I’m wondering if it had something to do with the VPN I was using at the time that frequently went down. Either way, kind of glad no one else has seen this.
