There seems to be something going on this morning with several sites. My Yahoo email doesn’t want to load, and I am unable to buy labels on Pirate Ship because it keeps saying there’s an error when I click to buy. My card is being authorized each attempt, though.
Perhaps just high traffic? Or perhaps something worse, but things are super glitchy.

Our Shopify site has always worked today, but our backend or admin section was down for a while.
It is up and running correctly since 11am for us.

Yeah looks like something large hiccuped a little earlier, and I’m thinking MAYBE AWS, but I’m also seeing office 365 and gmail issues

OK, what ever is going down is getting worse, I’m seeing load times increase here on SAS but server load is normal

Pirate Ship just got back to me on chat and says one of their “third party partners” is experiencing an outage. I was able finally to buy the labels I needed I Pirate Ship, however.

Could be regional … we are not seeing anything slow on SAS or google.

Yup, sites don’t seem to be affected, it was just the backend for us as well which has since been restored.

Alright, I’m starting to see some outages, I think it’s Cloudflare. It’s spotty, and I’m seeing it on sites that aren’t SAS. It will error with a 500 CF, reload and it loads fine.

I might call “Fake News” on that headline…. Shopify’s admin workstation was down but the websites they host were not. Productivity might have suffered but sales didn’t. Things may arrive a day later than planned though….

The article says that many merchants were locked out of check out backends. Depending on the Shopify plan and any add-ons, different merchants would have had different experiences, depending on degree of automation.

Ah yes… Forgot about the POS portion of the outage…. Shopify POS was down. My bad. But websites were not. I’m sticking by that. Haha
