Ah, the ever-popular “Bloody Amazon Cocktail” advocated by our well-missed friends Woody & Elm Street Dreams ‘back in the day’ would seem to be a good fit for titling such an emoji…

I have a meeting late next week with some managers and team members who manage the Amazon seller central seller support forums.
The agenda among other things :
-Clarifying the authority amazon seller support team members have in escalating issues for resolution when the request is made inside Amazon seller forums
-Discussing making me and a few others from our leadership team here into moderators / “Ambassadors” inside Amazon’s seller central discussion forum for “New Sellers” (a great way to gain new contacts at amazon while assisting and advising new sellers)
-Gauging future partnership opportunities, like possible Podcast appearances and exposure at our events etc
They’ve been open to hearing about some of the common frustrations we as sellers face, and they have more ability than I’d imagined to escalate issues to the proper parties at amazon for resolution.
I’m always advocating for sellers and building relationships inside amazon on behalf of YOU and this community!

Heads up warriors! Some VERY helpful developments just happened inside amazon seller support!
I’m in regular communication with the team that monitors amazons seller forums - I just got out of a meeting a couple minutes ago with them and they gave me a major insight and extended an opportunity to our community.

If you’d like to have your Amazon selling issue escalated to someone with more authority than what it seems you are able to access currently, a great way to do it is to post your scenario and the support ticket number in the Amazon seller central help forums!
When you post your issue there, be sure to mention that you are a part of the “SilentJim” community and mention that we referred you there for potential escalation!

I’ve just been assured that when you let them know on the seller forums that you came from this community that your post will absolutely be seen by the moderation team at Amazon! They’ll be doing a keyword search for our issues!
Example:
“Thank for for reviewing support ticket number 1234567 - I’m part of the SilentJim Amazon selling community and they suggested I bring my issue to your attention for possible escalation.”
Of course the amazon seller support leadership team cannot promise that they will get you any extra level of resolution, but they have assured me that their team WILL at a minimum REVIEW your post and do everything within their power to escalate your issue to the appropriate department at Amazon!
They want to show support to resellers and they’ve opened up this door for us!
This is a great opportunity for the members of our community.
I strongly encourage you to post any of your more challenging Amazon Seller issues in the seller forums because they monitor the frequency of different challenges, as well as have the ability to escalate your challenges to the appropriate departments.
Please keep in mind - many self appointed “experts” who are quite often misinformed and aggressive with their opinions lurk in the Amazon support forums. If I were you I’d only pay attention to Amazon’s responses if you get negative feedback from fellow sellers when posting there.
Ask any questions below - happy to clarify of course!

I knew that @anon72228237 was up to no good! ![]()
I reread this 4 times just so I could keep laughing.
Late to the party and taking credit for the already existing method …
IMO
… pandering for $$$ any way you can
Another one of “SilentJim’s” uh… happy customers.
I did see response from @PicksbyNisha
I’m sure good ole Jim will have the correct response for this guy.
Looking at all the thumbs down to the correct responses. It’s like he’s got
his very own cult.
Didn’t need a meeting to know that. Has been common knowledge for some time

So then all his followers literally copy and paste this as it’s all they can understand. All it does is expose his followers.

Yeah, interesting that he was able to contact ALL of the other sellers to learn that they had also been affected. Hmmmmm.
I didn’t do nothing. They just can’t handle the truth!
I don’t understand that at all. If you plan on ignoring Amazon’s responses, why go to the forum at all?
It says only pay attention to Amazon’s responses, which I interpret, only listen to what Amazon has to say (which we know is 99% of the time incorrect).
He’s saying ignore all non amazon idiots.
Clearly he hasn’t been on the forum in a LONG time since only Amazon replies to most threads, LOL
Ah. I see now what he meant to say. But what he said was to ignore Amazon unless you get negative feedback from sellers.
That IF/THEN sentence needs restructuring to make it mean what was intended …
“If you get negative feedback (blah blah) / only pay attn to Amazon”
I suspect that many of us would agree that’s what “masterclass gurus” like Mr. Cockrum - who’s been at it with various ‘courses of instruction’ for longer than the first-known appearance, in the then-extant ASF (“Amazon Seller Forums”), of a reference to his Silent Sales Machine on 060119 - are seeking.
There’s a reason why snake-oil salesmen are constrained to revise their offerings when the gullible put their thinking caps firmly in place upon their noggins…
As has been pointed out upthread, and in the NSFE, and in other related Amazon 3P Seller discussion venues, it does appear that the FMT-CMT (“Forum Moderation Team”/“Community Manage Team”) has been expunging certain posts over in the NSFE - but that would seem to be unlikely to hold much sway on the thinking of those who believe that the ‘easiest’ way to do something is the proper focus.
A post was merged into an existing topic: Migraines
Hi @Tvoi @Zardoz @meredithbead @Pepper_Thine_Angus @Dogtamer and all, I have split the migraine posts into a new topic in
SAS Confidential (members only), Migraines. I hope you and others will keep sharing your experiences there, especially since ecommerce uniquely relies on screens (a known migraine trigger for many sufferers) more than many other types of retail.
Back in the dark ages of my e-commerce life, I had a free rinky-dink website on … somewhere I’ve conveniently forgotten, and I’m pretty sure they went out of business ages ago.
When they added flashing GIF ads to all my pages, I closed the site and never went back.
Another victim; thread titled
silent jim amazon seller/ ticket number
Thank you for reviewing support ticket number16498543931 and16539033051- I’m part of the SilentJim Amazon selling community and they suggested I bring my issue to your attention for possible escalation.
These two asins were taken down because the ai thinks they are prescription products. One is Act mouthwash the other is Tagamet. The asins are B000YJXZ5E and B000UWI40Q.
My account health was negatively impacted by this error. Can you please reinstate my account health and reactivate listings.
Nice that they identify themselves.
If anyone finds difficulty in ferreting out which NSFE discussion our friend April references - after all, we all know that the NSFE’s searchability leaves something to be desired - it’s here:
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/32■■■625-addf-4f27-bb04-ce1f6c6c67ff
It is perhaps noteworthy that Amazon’s software would seem to be triggering Discourse’s automated filters - or those emplaced by the SAS Staff - in the above URL (“a 5 5”, without those spaces, are the ‘masked’ characters succeeding ‘…32’ & preceding ‘625..’ in that link).
