Simplified shipping settings wrongly showing 2-day shipping and not honoring 2-day lag time

I have been using “simplified shipping settings” for a long time. I only use one shipping service, USPS Ground Advantage, and have a 2-day lag time set up. Yesterday, I received a message from a customer saying that their delivery was late. The order was placed on Thursday, October 30th and Walmart promised delivery on Saturday, November 1st. I also do not have Saturday or Sunday checked as “shipping carrier will transit and deliver packages.” The customer is in Michigan and I am shipping from New York.

Why is Walmart extending 2-day delivery to this customer when USPS Ground Advantage is a 3-5 delivery service?

Does using “simplified shipping settings” protect me from late deliveries?

Why is Walmart disregarding my 2-day shipping lag time?

Should I switch back to using my shipping template with 5-day delivery?

I have found the answer for this problem. Walmart will not accept a 2-day lag time, sellers can only have a maximum 1-day lag time unless they apply for an exemption.
