Solved my computer noise problem

I know sometimes when my computer makes noise, I might be able to fix it by opening up the case and blowing out dust, but I didn’t want to open the case, so I just blew air into the vents and that fixed the problem. Maybe I should open it up, but I really hate dealing with plugging and unplugging all those cables just to move it to someplace I could work on it.

Concentrate on the fans. If they are free of dust your computer is much happier

I did the same thing with my Lorex DVR… Wasn’t sure if it was the HD or the fan making noise so I bought them both. Upgraded from 1T to 2T. Turned out to be the $12 fan.

Fun little project that I had my son do.

Helped take the mystery out of a robbery that happened directly across the street from me back in Dec. Neighbor was away for almost 2 weeks and I was able to go back that far and get a shot of who did it.

Unsure if it was solved or not but was a cultural Indian on Indian crime which I didn’t even know existed ,but apparently is a thing around here according to the NYPD officer that I talked to after I handed over the footage on a thumb drive.

That’s one of the crappy things about having a pretty robust camera system. If something happens, and you have a shot of the action, they come knocking for it (cops).

Many years ago, my footage solved a hit and run of my neighbors car that was hit so hard, that their car got pushed across my driveway and obviously totalled.

Turns out that the guy was just released from the hospital which is very close to here, dropped his prescription drug bottle on the passenger floorboard, reached down to get it, and lost control of his car. Got his plate on video.

This is all somewhat off topic but nevertheless interesting and in my book of 400 bad or weird things that have happened to Steve.
