Spike in Returns?

Seems like this happened last June, seems like a spike in Buyer Remorse returns this month… lots of “item arrived late” reasons although they were delivered on-time. FBM. My return rate is typically 1-1.5%, it’s around 2.5-3% now. Anybody else seeing this?

My sales are up on Facebook and Etsy, but my Amazon FBM sales are way down. Knock on wood, I haven’t seen any returns for June yet. I’ve given up and place a return label with the invoice on every sale now. Return labels are “free” unless they are scanned.

Our return rate has been decreasing since after 2023 holiday sales.
We are almost down to 3% but unfortunately, still above.

 Do you sell graduation gifts, teacher gifts, or textbooks? Wedding gifts or supplies?

Just trying to troubleshoot the seasonality of it, not the scammy-ness.

Nope, just children’s toys…

Could it be children are playing outside again, like in the olden days?

Going back to raising our young to value that time-cherished pursuit - the embrace of Nature, rather than man-made Technology as the end-all & be-all - and better-off would be Human Society, methinks.

Sadly, I fear that the chance has passed, for it seems to me that far too few of us alive on this mortal coil can even comprehend the concept…

 Too hot in most of the country right now, but I did find some pretty awesome self-filling self-sealing reusable water balloons on Amazon and have been using with a kiddie pool some evenings, with my two youngest “big kids” (going into 5th and 8th) :star_struck::ocean:
