How can we be expected to sell people on the idea that we have great sales when the sellers won’t lower their prices more than we already forced them to? If we don’t have a substantial Black Friday, sellers won’t give us the holiday sales we need for those big December numbers and we won’t get our bonuses! The floggings will continue until morale improves!
Our profit has been demolished this year by fuel surcharges and inbound FBA freight that is often 3-4X what it was LY and years prior.
We are in the same boat as all the low-lifes we compete with, yet they continue to advertise like drunken soldiers and keeping their pricing and promo cadence firm or even more aggressive.
They either have a death-wish or are just really a bunch of morons.
Or they think they can run you out of business and take your market share, but that doesn’t seem like a safe bet.
