Testing Walmart's waters on a claim

Customer placed an order 3/2/2025
Shipped 3/3/25
Needed to arrive by 3/8/25

Tracking shows it was out for delivery on 3/8/25, BUT returned to the post office to be held per customer’s request.

Customer picked it up on 4/2/25

Customer returned it on 4/28/25 and I got it today. Note stated it was nice but arrived too late.

Um…no it didn’t.

So I submitted a claim stating that the return was outside the window AND please fix my on time delivery rate because the CUSTOMER asked the post office to hold it for a month.

One order, but on the return page, there’s three different line items – 1 each for each different size they ordered. No it was not a small order either.

So let’s see what they say – though I bet their clock starts on April 2, and not March 8,

I’m so glad you have documentation of this! Also, kind of a jerk customer to put that on you.

Wow, never heard of a PO holding things for nearly a month.

Very common in rural areas for ranchers and farmers (and people who take long vacations).

Yea…when I go out of town, I can ask to have my mail held and I do that when there’s no one here at home to get it.

Three cases, same input, different out put, but none said approved.

So you’ve heard back from WM?

Basically proof of a canned answer but still a question of WHICH Ship date?

I need to appeal and be a PITA again…just for the humor.

Walmart is so bad at common sense. I have created so many cases and spoken to a multitude of reps and you cannot get a resolution other than what they say goes!

What’s that old saying?

“Old Amazonians never die; they simply fade away to Walmart.”

Do this, just for the simple fact they say “I understand your concern” and then proceed to fail completely to understand your concern.
