Good to know @Pepper_Thine_Angus has a day job going forward. Those cookies are expensive, even by the trailer load!
I’m all for the good guys winning and all, but Star Wars continues to jump the purrgil.
Summary
Two tie fighters bearing down on a basically stationary ship and they hit “nothing” but the ground in front and to the sides. Oh, they hit the engines “a little”.
Then BOTH pilots get taken out by a kamikaze maneuver and the ship doing the kamikaze isn’t totaled in the process. Tis but a scratch we’ll be ready to go at just the last second in the next escape certain peril scene. You go ahead and “leave me behind”.
Three riders on a pair of ROUS being shot at by Star Destroyer Laser Cannons and not even slowed down by ground being blown up in front of them.
Never mind the fact that someone left the doors wide open when they were supposed to be preparing for a ground attack.
Maybe the troopers for once would close the blast doors behind themselves as they come down the tower just in case if anyone gets behind them they’d be slowed down a bit.
Hey we just defeated a whole room of troopers. Let’s get on the top step, do a we’re badass pose, we’ve got plenty of time to catch that ship that is leaving.
And now we can add Force Incredibly Long Jumping to the list of WTF powers… and the one who just barely was finally able to grab her lightsaber can now perfectly aid in this Super Jump.
Hey, let’s let new sister with a sword do all the work and we’ll just stand here and not fire. Oh snap, that purple haired chic is back, maybe we should get back in the action.
Hey uh Thrawn, I know we just space jumped back, but I’m just going to take this ship out. Nothing sus. Just a lone “trooper” taking a shuttle somewhere far away.
They don’t have to kill any of the main characters, but at least make it “reasonably difficult”.
The whole getting on the ship felt as pitch meeting pitcher Ryan would say “Super easy, barely an inconvenience”.
Despite my rant, I enjoy the show. I’m just getting tired of there being “no consequences”. At least Luke lost a hand in Empire. Nary a scratch on anyone important these days. Oh you got stabbed with a lightsaber? A few minutes in a baca tank and it’ll be like it never happened.
My son and I joke that if you want to “make sure” you win a lightsaber duel, never just stab nor just slice. Stab and slice you must. Multiple large pieces of your opponent in different places and you’re 65% sure that you won.

Very nice write-up. Good observations.
I thought the series was a bit directionless and slow-moving. It needed more of a focus. Ahsoka and Sabine’s action scenes seemed weakly choreographed and too predictable. Rosario was a dancer so she should be able to move with more intensity.
Overall, the series brought some new ideas and perspectives to the Star Wars Universe. I am hoping for at least second season to bring things to a good conclusion.

Stevenson passed away in May of this year. News of his passing has been posted on social media sites since then but picked up after the Ahsoka series started airing. If you remember the first episode, there was a dedication, “For our friend Ray.”
I’ve known about his passing since the second episode but did not post it here. It was difficult to watch his scenes knowing that he would not return for a second season. I thought last night’s final scene of him looking off into the distance was an appropriate tribute.
