So far I have been able to pick out which sales are paid for at Amazon. I sell so little, I can just go through my order book and check off the paid ones. It’s a jumble, as my USA shipments get varying delivery time from Canada. When ones don’t show up in a disbursement, I figure they will just be in the next disbursement in two weeks, and wait patiently (sarcasm) for two weeks. I now have two orders that don’t show up as ever having been paid and it’s been DD+ about five weeks or so. I know how to see what was paid in each disbursement and have perused several of them, from the order date to the latest pay out. Is there a way to click on the actual order and somehow get to what date it was paid for?? One was only netting me $19 and I wouldn’t bother even trying to untangle it, but the other was for a large Zoom order of 24 books, so I’d kind of like to get paid for that one. Before opening a case with “support” I thought I’d ask here, as it will likely be embarassingly easy to figure out. Thanks.
On the Payment Dashboard, you can enter the “Order #” to search for it:
Once you enter the order # in the above highlighted box, click search, and that will bring up the “Transaction View” page of that order, and it should show it either as “Released” (paid to you) on whatever the date, or as “deferred”, which means it hasn’t been paid to you yet. You should be able to find all the “deferred transactions” under “Transaction Status”.
This will show you all of your deferred payments (not released transactions) and will have the estimated release by date.
You can also enter in the order ID in the box on the upper left and search for all postings related to that order.
First thing we suggest is making sure that those orders had been delivered.
Next … since these orders are 5 weeks back and you have not found a release date and you know they were delivered, then check to see if Amazon shows them as delivered.
Finally … if you have determined there was no release date or payment, open a separate case with the details you have to get the payment.
The order shows shipped May 15th, delivered May 26th and is “released” on June 2 when I look up the order.
I browse the list of transactions for that disbursement, only one shows on June 2 and that is not it. I checked all of the order numbers for that disbursement (May 23-June 14) and none match. I have also looked at the following two disbursements but it never shows up there.
I went ahead and opened a case. It is always my last resort, their “support” generally gives me a headache. I hold out no hope that they understand the problem. Part of the drill in describing my problem was what settlement number it should have been in. Once I put that in, the bots tell me that settlement went just fine and I should contact my bank about it.
Look for June 3 … most of our DD+7 actually hit the account the next day so yours would be June 3.
The payout was June 14th. Next one was June 28th. It is in neither of those. I looked at all of the orders, sadly there were only 15 in each so easy enough to check them all. ![]()
Okay, my bad. Before DD+whatever, my few invoiced orders were paid out with the rest, now they have to be searched for on their own. And credit where due, as I am a huge non-fan of Amazon “support,” their AI responded to my case in one day and with easy to follow information. All is well, I have been paid for was claimed to be paid. Thanks for the assists @Lost_My_Marbles and @Dreamscape-Studio
