Looking at my Performance and for Valid Tracking it shows 91.6% with 1 order under the category “Misleading tracking”. I checked on the status of it and it was delivered on time by USPS and shipping label was purchased on Walmart. How can they tag it as Misleading when the whole shipping purchase and label was done thorough Walmart? Anyway to fix it?

Does Walmart reuse USPS tracking numbers, like Amazon does?

My understanding is that the USPS was turning over Amazon tracking numbers too quickly and not updating them with the new tracking information, and that this is a USPS issue. Amazon doesn’t issue the tracking numbers themselves, they get them from USPS, with an Amazon specific prefix.
I haven’t heard of this issue happening with Walmart, but I don’t buy my label from Walmart as my shipping program hasn’t developed an integration with Walmart yet. The shipping labels I buy from Stamps or Shipstation to ship Walmart orders have had no issues.
