USPS Ground Advantage Delays

In the past 2 weeks I’m getting more USPS Ground Advantage Delays. It appears Amazon SSA is correctly estimating the GA delivery times, but customers on Ebay are seeing delays beyond the promised delivery dates. Most of my delays are in Florida and all along the East Coast.

Is it just me, or are other sellers seeing slower USPS Ground Advantage delivery times?

The news today is that USPS is going to implement changes to First Class Mail (including package) handling that will speed up some, and slow down others.

Plenty of variation based on sorting centers.

Complicated by the fact that Ebay tracking and tracking on the USPS site are not identical.

I have gotten picked up scans recently which usually means a trainee from the local training center picked up the item. Sometimes a good thing, sometimes not.

What we have seen has been similar to any other year during this time of the year. Most have been delivered in 3 or 4 days. About 10% of the total packages have been between 5 to 7 days and those were all going to either rural or places where weather (snow) was a factor.

We are located pretty central so both coasts are within the same distance … no completely cross country shipping which probably helps us.
