USPS return to sender surge

I logged in this morning to find 4 messages from buyers either asking where their stuff is or telling me the packages never showed up. I looked into them and all were USPS orders bought through Amazon shipping and they were returned to sender. In the past week or 2 there has been a noticeable uptick in these orders.

Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

Haven’t had return to sender but have seen an increase in slow deliveries and routing through where ever.

Also had Amazon shipping adjustments costs from labels bought through Amazon Buy Shipping during the recycled label issue. All have been increased weights (which we know is bogus as we have shipped 1000s of these items in the same packaging and same weight for years).

I’ve had 3 returned-to-sender packages and 1 A-to-Z (shows delivered but they say they never got it) within recent weeks. It’s unusual.

…by whom, though? The Buyers were still expecting them, apparently. Unless it’s a new kind of scam that makes no sense?

By the USPS as far as I can tell. No idea why though.

Did they arrive back to you in one piece?

Haven’t seen them yet.

Had a few returns that were marked undeliverable return to sender but they were delivered to me.

I think they may have changed the interface for USPS and undeliverable is where delivered used to be. SO buyers being buyers are taking advantage of the Amazon system

Had one returned as undeliverable yesterday. The box was crushed. It looked like it was taped back together. The packing slip I always include was missing. The box was misassembled.

That box has seen some things.
