I don’t generally pay any attention to VoC, but decided to look at it today. I have a few “Very Poor”, so looked at the details for one. Customer comment:
“Book is not as described, instead i got a better quality”
So Amazon is now dinging us for pleasing the customer.
Well that falls in line with forcing AHT for shipping before the end of your handle time and creating a Handle Time Gap that is greater than or equal to 2 days and delivering the order faster than was promised.
At least there is some consistency in letting the seller know with dings that they are over preforming when it comes to meeting customer expectations.
We don’t even open the tab ever. DGAF about the opinion of Amazon’s customers as they are not our customers and Amazon’s customers are not qualified to make most of their assertions about the products they buy.
The stupid list still has item on it we have not sold in over a decade.
I open it only when Amazon tells me they are about to suspend a listing because of customer complaints and I need to know what nonsensical drivel the buyers said on their return requests.
My sales have been so terrible lately that I’m not even getting returns! My VOC Very Poor count is down to 7. It’s usually closer to 20, mostly because people can’t be bothered to measure their dog’s neck, or think a 1 inch wide collar is good for a 2 pound dog.
Item not in received package - customer ordered a different style 3 days later with different personalization.
Customer said extra links weren’t attached (extra links sent with custom size requests) so basically customer ordered wrong size - Customer reordered item 2 sizes larger (custom and personalized items are non-returnable and non-refundable)
The customers actions prove it wasn’t us so we don’t worry about VOC dings as they fall off in 30 days.
