walmart, best way to take 5 day vacation?

hi all, as we know the wm vacay policy is absurd for most people… I want to take off thursday-wednesday. Is it best to 0 out my inventory?

If you have non ship days left, you can just use those. If you used them all or need them for later in the year, your options are to either zero out your inventory, or ship late and deal with the damage that may cause.

Yep, zero it out using a spreadsheet. There are too many other one here and one there times to take off without majing your store disappear.

(Like friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, and stretching a 3 day weekend like this one coming up into four by adding one or two dsys. Leave a few for “oh darn” emergencies.)

Keep in mind that no matter which way you go, zeroing inventory or setting yourself as closed through Additional Days Off; Walmart will still require you to respond to customer inquiries within the usual timeframe.
