Walmart 🤬 "keep it" return rules

Check your return settings on Walmart,
It has auto-stablished (at least for my category) a “keep it” rule for orders $25
I was never notified about this, I’m so grateful of the Sweet Honey Ice Tea platform that Walmart is

(Settings, returns, seller fulfilled returns, “keep it rules”/“partial keep it rules”)

That’s going to be exploited. :face_with_steam_from_nose:

Not “going to be.” Is exploited.

And its irritating.

I don’t ever remember seeing an email about this change. That’s rough….

It’s one thing to do this, but another to send no notification about it.

I can not find any mention of it, anywhere at all. Literally this topic comes up in search.

:expressionless_face: Did some programmer jump the gun, putting the process in place before the policy?

A way to keep your selling partners happy…

Did they do the same to you?
I know that I would have never set such a setting, I fastidiously deny “keep it” returns to prevent any reddit or facebook group from creating a reputation for my brand, and I know that I wasn’t notified, because I’d have immediately changed the setting
Hopefully nobody else has it, or if you do, you can kill it

Our Walmart return settings have not changed.

Both show:

You have no Keep It rules.
You have no Partial Keep It rules.

As it should be!

This annoyed me as well last year when I saw Walmart issuing keep it refunds and all the customer needed to do was claim “incorrect item”.

I disputed each one stating that I have no keep it rules and if the customer was not happy with their order they could return it for a full refund. If I recall I was reimbursed for most.

My guess is they try to get away with it unless you make a dispute.

I just got this from Walmart.

Hello,

We noticed that one or more of your Keep It Rules didn’t include a per-order refund limit.

Without this limit, multi-quantity orders could result in unintended larger refunds than anticipated. To prevent this, we’ve updated those rules so the per-order limit now matches your existing item-level limit.

No action is required, but you can review or update your limits anytime in Seller Center.

If you have questions or need help, please contact support .

Thank you for your business,

My Walmart account isn’t even active right now because of some Inform Act stuff.
