Walmart Listing Quality Score

Our listing quality score has gone down in the last week. I couldn’t figure out why. Today it dropped a percentage point within 2 hours. I had over 350 SKUs in the excellent category that all switched to Poor quality. When looking at these SKUs, they are all WFS. It seems like they are punishing me for not offering fast and free shipping, yet they are all fulfilled by Walmart.

I did put in a ticket with support, and have not heard anything yet. Just curious if anyone else has seen the same?

Welcome to SAS!

We personally do not deal with Walmart so we will tag someone who might be able to provide you with some info.

@ASV_Vites ?

@KQNeil_748 - Walmart’s Support isn’t great. Perhaps @WALMART.COM_EXPERT can offer some advice here to you. They are a direct contact to Walmart through SAS. Could be 2 things IMO:

  1. A glitch that will correct itself.
  2. Walmart has gotten a bit more aggressive with wanting more inventory in more fulfillment centers for true “Fast and Free” shipments to buyers. We have now been forced to split to 8 DC’s instead of 3 recently to get inventory more spread out so WFS can deliver faster. Yes, you can pay placement fees like on Amazon for Walmart to do it but if your physical counts aren’t high enough, your inventory won’t be sent too many places.

With 350 listings, I’m not sure what your individual inventory counts are for each but if you aren’t keeping hundreds of units of each minimum at WFS, you won’t be delivering very quickly and this could be why you are seeing what you are seeing.

Good Luck

Steve

Thanks so much for the reply. I will take a look at our inventory counts. Much appreciated. :slight_smile:
