Wow, what a refreshing approach. Ask people if they want to be a beta tester, unlike most companies. Iâm looking at you Amazon, Sonos, Tesla, CrowdStrike â
So that is what we call a world wide outage? ⌠a beta test?
And the Alien says ...
So nice to be an Alien and miss an outage rather than be part of Earthâs beta party.
Just got an email that the Walmart Seller App is now in âearly access.â I have been selected for this exclusive opportunity to be one of the first to try it!
I got access in August, but ALAS, My iPhone 6 canât update to the point where I can download it. LOL
I saw the OP on this thread
I just think itâs funny that they just moved it 7 months later from âbetaâ to âearly accessâ and then tried to tell me how special I was to be invited to this exclusive program.
You are special but not as âspecialâ as the idiots that write these messagesâŚ
Iâve got enough crap on my phone and Walmart is a steady, relatively trouble free part of our business. The only thing that needs to be done is sending inventory every couple months.
If Amazon or retail were like that, Iâd have a lot less grey hair, more of it, and might live a few extra yearsâŚ
Well, due to my new phone, I can now jump in on the App test.
Itâs pretty cool in that it shows you the time that orders are placed (which I like to look at for some reason).
That very simple feature is not available on the desktop version.
I wonder if the SASâ newest Certified Platform Representative, our friend @WALMART.COM_EXPERT, could put in a Feature Request for such a useful functionality?
I have to give them some credit â they asked for my emails and deleted the ones that I provided from their âcontactâ lists.
Having done that, if I get mad enough at Amazon I might consider getting the EIN and trying to do Walmart. Not likely, but a thought if it seems that they are doing things better than the monster.
Sadly, they let offshore sellers on a few years ago so they were doing it much better.
Now itâs more of the same in many regards. They did finally remove the seller that was knocking off trade dress like you wouldnât believe. Same label, different brand name⌠Never seen anything like it.
Took the better part of a year to take that seller from China down. Their own horrible feedback is probably what did it rather than Walmart taking the action.
I think @ASV_Vites is really happy with his phone upgrade. Two, whole threads about his iPhone.
It certainly is a momentous occasion.
Smile van pulled up today with all new USBC â â â â , 3 cases, and other assorted new phone related stuff, less than 12 hours after it was ordered.
This will be the last of the phone comments. lol
Challenge accepted âŚ
... shhh ... be vewy vewy quiet
For those interested in getting in the pool with your guess as to when @ASV_Vites post his next phone comment, just PM us with your guess to get added in.
PS ⌠this has to be done as a PM otherwise @ASV_Vites could pick the winner.
WellâŚIâm not going to lie to yaâŚWalmart doesnât really have a tool to submit feature requests at this time. I went ahead and submitted this in our weekly âSeller Quotesâ report. This is something our team manually updates but honestly not a lot of action comes from these.
Our favorite reps are upfront with us and manage our expectations, so thank you! Itâs very enlightening at times to see what we would expect from our platforms and what the reality is.
Found this out the hard way from the various SAS managers weâve had at Amazon.
Most of the time they face the same obstacles sellers do. Itâs actually a little sad, especially when you are paying for a service.
Susan, is that you???
