Two Words: Holy. Crap.
It meansā¦I have spend 2 weeks trying to track him down all over the internet. Emailed at least 10 people that could potentially have been him, left messages on Reddit and threw out hints on the NSFE and none got his attention. By the time I left the āYou can still thank themā comment I had totally not expected him to see any posts anywhere anymoreā¦it was a reply to a poster that specifically complained that the old timers were gone

Actually, I did see the āā¦not giving up on you, buddyā¦ā comment on Reddit when it was new, but as I mentioned in my initial SAS post upthread, I was constrained to wait longer than I wouldāve personally preferred before applying for membership.

Nah, nobody felt like you were giving anyone a cold shoulder. Everyone figured you had your reasons, just wanted to be sure you KNEW this is where everyone collected

SAS IS PUBLICLY VIEWABLE.
The Handmade Booksellers and 
SAS Confidential (members only) categories are PRIVATE categories. Topics and replies in those categories are not viewable by the public or anonymous users.
- Any SAS member (who is not brand new) can see SAS Confidential (members only).
- SAS members must be manually added to the @Handmade group, after vetting, to see the Handmade category.
- SAS members must be manually added to the @Booksellers group, after vetting, to see the Booksellers category.
There are some other subcategories that are also PRIVATE, as indicated by the lock icon, as below:
SAS members may delete their own posts in all categories at any time by selecting the 
trash can icon at the bottom of a post, or by flagging a post for mods to delete. NOTE: SAS staff can always see all versions of edited or deleted posts.
