Well this is a new one......

I don’t really know exactly what your problem is. My entire neighborhood is Asian. One of my business partners is Indian, the other Indonesian. I have plenty of friends as well that are Asian.

Don’t pass judgement on people you don’t know IRL. That’s warped, I’d say.

I simply stated that 90% of those that collect recyclables in this area are Asian, because they are. They aren’t homeless either.

Where do you live? Come to one of the 5 Boroughs of NYC and I’ll show you around and show you what we see.

Maybe this is unique to my little part of Queens because I showed that picture to my business partner and he was pretty surprised by the whole thing and he lives in Manhattan.

I wonder what part of Manhattan; I’ve seen this collecting practice (sans peeing) going on quite a bit in parts of Manhattan; although mostly done by Hispanics. I’m sure that’s just a coincidence that it was in parts of Manhattan where most of the people there are Hispanic…(Inwood, Washington Heights)

I’ve been to his place and I don’t remember where it is haha.

Let’s leave ethnicity out of this. It was my mistake for bringing it up innocently and having it morph into me being some sort of ignorant racist…

His commentary was about his collectors in his area being clearly homeless and was surprised that this sort of thing went on by me.

These people here (regardless of ethnicity) are not homeless. Like I mentioned the lady who I know where she lives…. She drives around in her honda civic and collects every Wed Night.

Competition where I used to live (Ozone Park) was fierce. Those collectors used to actually open our fence and get the bottles and cans before they made it to the street.
