Brand Registry Access: Troubleshooting Guide

Hi sellers,
I’m sharing a new troubleshooting guide: What if my brand is already enrolled in Brand Registry?
While enrolling your brand in Brand Registry, some sellers may receive a notification that states “Trademark is already enrolled.” The first step you take is to contact your brand Administrator to request access.
If you are unable to locate the contact information for your brand Administrator, follow these steps to request access to your brand:
Log in to the Brand Registry portal and select Enroll a brand.
Attempt to enroll using the same trademark currently existing for your brand in Brand Registry. You will receive a notification with an option for sharing your contact information with the current Administrator. Select use this form.
In the Share contact form, enter your full name and email. Then click Share. Your contact information will be sent to the brand’s current Administrator along with instructions on how they can add you as a user. Once accepted, you’ll receive a notification that you’ve been added.
Submit an appeal form
If there has been a trademark ownership change or if the current Administrator is no longer active, select use this form to submit an appeal to access your brand. Once the form has been submitted, our support team will review and follow up with next steps.
Note: The appeal form is only available to accounts that are in good standing. For additional information, visit Brand Registry rejections due to abusive conduct.
If there are questions, please let me know.
Best,
Sandy

Any idea about the motivation for this effort?
Are brands being abandoned by their Chinese owners due to the T word?

I think that’s its likely that this is a driving factor, but I also suspect that the use of ‘Gig-Economy’ “solutions” in creating the brands - which, as we all know, is a practice spawned pretty-much entirely by the rise of eCommerce, and both midwifed and nurtured by Amazon itself, to a large degree - and the evidently-poor reliability of that vector of approach may well have played a role in the decision to launch this initiative.
