Where Oh Where is policy on shipping stickers in a stamped envelope?

I know there is, or at least there was, policy on sending small items (stickers) in an envelope and choosing USPS First Class Mail Envelopes on the confirmation drop-down. I’ve seen the policy but now I can’t find it in the help files. I think there was a $10 limit.

Does anyone have a link to that policy? Wondering if it is under $10 entire order or if the item price is under $10?
Buyer ordered 3 - $3.99 items, order totals $11.97 before tax.

Found this forum post from the OFSE … (hint: expand the replies)

Thanks!

I am sorry, I am boycotting the NSFE, I cannot get to that post without signing up for the doxxing.

But I trust your reply, I will buy a Ground Advantage label for the order.

I know Amazon had it written somewhere. I was able to find it when the help topics appeared at the right side of Seller Central but I can’t find it on the Articles page. Of course using search there for this topic is useless.

The actual policy is found here: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G201817070?ref=sp_st_vtr_summary

Scroll down to …

Exemptions from VTR calculation

  • Domestic small and flat shipments that meet all of the following criteria:

    • Small and flat packages, such as screen protectors and greeting cards, that cost less than USD 10 (including shipping charges).
    • Shipped by USPS.
    • The shipping service is “USPS Standard Mail envelopes” or “USPS First Class Mail envelopes” from the drop down in the shipping service field in Seller Central.

Side note: Taxes are not included in the calculation. Product(s) and shipping are in the calculation, but not taxes.
