I got an email from Walmart saying 1 order has a late origin scan. When I check the order it shows the item was supposed to be shipped on 10/30 and USPS shows In Possession on 10/30 at 2pm PST. I had the package scanned at the counter by the postal worker and then attached file they emailed me shows “Actual Ship Date” as 10/30 and “ESD” of 10/30. So I don’t know why Walmart thinks this was a late origin scan when it clearly shows item was shipped and had origin scan by the date it was supposed to. Do we just ignore such emails or do we need to do something about so it doesn’t affect our performance?

We had the same issue last Monday, October 27th. Even though the scan was done by our carrier on the 27th, it didn’t show up on the tracking information until the 28th. Apparently, sometimes it takes time for the scans to show up in the USPS system.

I think something is up with Walmart’s shipping metrics because I got dinged the other day for “misleading tracking” because an order was delivered two days early. We use their simplified shipping template set to USPS Ground Advantage, so the quoted delivery dates are generated by them. We did ship the order via USPS Ground Advantage, but we did ship it a day early, which support pointed to as being part of the issue. After that, I decided to only ship Walmart orders on their ship by date, but now they are sending me seller performance alarm emails because the orders haven’t shipped before their ship-by date.

I use USPS Ground Advantage and am having similar issues with Walmart, they are expecting me to ship same day with 2-day delivery.

I’m not on Walmart, but I’m going to tag some more Sellers who can hopefully weigh in, too.
My understanding is that opening a ticket/case with Walmart if difficult or impossible. So how would they even know if there is a global glitch?
