Update: With three days left before payout, 2/3 of my Net Proceeds just moved into Account Level Reserve. I guess I’ll have to cancel the down payment on the yacht. ![]()
I received the spanking this morning as well.
I thought my bribe to the King would suffice, but I have been double-crossed.
Yup, we got moved today as well. Thankfully it was 1 day after our latest normal payout.
Guess we’ll see how this rollercoaster goes now.
Follow up after the first payout after the disbursement that was held (1st full payment period after transition) …
Disbursement 3/8 = $0.00 (all funds held)
Note: We did not use the Request Payment fund through this first period during transition so we could keep accounting of the fund held release amounts.
Disbursement 3/22 = All funds previously held minus shipping charges during the period (the funds were released but not in any fashion that could be tracked back to the order itself). We had one order make it through the DD+7 that was placed at the beginning of this payout period.
Morning of 3/23 … $0.00 then professional fee hit so -$39.99 and then we shipped so the negative increase by shipping costs.
Morning of 3/24 … One order was released and shipping charges meant we still had a negative balance but a little less than the day before.
We expect to be on the plus side tomorrow 3/25 but no later than 3/26.
The two orders, that were released, were released based on the Delivery Date plus 7 (but the actual payment comes on the 8th day after the delivery date … delivered 3/15 paid 3/23).
There were two other orders that have cleared the DD+7 and should have been paid out 3/23 and 3/24 that were not released. The Deferred Transaction page shows these orders as to be paid out based upon the order Deliver by Date +7 even though the orders were delivered before the Deliver by Date. Obviously, the Amazon transaction page did not update (or recognize) that these two orders have been delivered. This means that we are waiting 3 to 4 extra days for their release.
As far as whether a negative balance will get charge to your credit card and when, we saw this post on NSFE …
Edit Add
All of our orders have had an Estimated Deliver by Date of 6 or 7 days … even Zone 3 and Zone 4 which are fairly close and delivered normally in 3 or 4 days.
Again I was transferred today.
- I now have disbursement on demand - yea (but I will probably not use).
- I downloaded the Transactions for this Period, and the total matches the Account Level Reserve
- I downloaded the Deferred Transactions, and the total matches as well to the Statement View
So I can track both, if I wish.
I note that I have 10 items in the Deferred that were shipped today (after the transition)
The FBA items have an ESTIMATED release in 8 days (04/01)
The FBM items have an ESTIMATED release in 15 days (04/08)
As well
The FBA and FBM Invoiced Orders are all at 30 days
Liquidations are at 120 days
I assume - correct me if I am wrong. Those that have zero disbursements in their payment after the transition ship ONLY FBM, as FBM are paid (at a minimum) of 15 days and the pay period is 14 days, hence the skip.
I will also ASSUME, that the FBA will be paid. lol
FBM would trend like that for those who use a slower shipping service (like USPS GA) and the Estimated Deliver by Date was 7 days after shipping.
FBA would trend like that if Amazon was getting the shipment there in one day and the Estimated Deliver By Date was 1 day after shipping.
Even an FBM seller could have some in the disbursement the day after transition but that would have more to how Amazon elects to handle their transition, when their prior held orders meet DD+7, and how much shipping charges are incurred that next day. Consistent volume with the same $$$ average per day in sales and shipping charges will fair better than a inconsistent volume with variable $$$ averages per day and varied daily shipping charges.
We are FBM and had some $$$ right after transition as seen in our post above.
We did remember to check the box that allows for us to collect your FBA payments in your behalf. It’s a new service that allows for you to worry less about taxes owed to the IRS and transfers that burden onto us … which we gladly accepted to help you out.

Curses, foiled again…
They got me finally. Good thing I cleaned everything out last night. I KNEW that I should have shipped one (more) expensive item a day early, but I didn’t. May sign up for food stamps since I like to eat…
Amazon made a tiny disbursement on 3 March, and it did not look like anything more was coming until 30 March, but they allowed me a two-figure disbursement today. Much more is still siting there.
Fortunately, I sell on other venues that pay regularly.
This is a big change from, as a long time seller on Amazon, having the ability to initiate daily disbursements.
When we first read this, we read it as a two-finger disbursement and imagined it being one finger on each hand … in some ways, we think we read it right.

Yep just got screwed
Everything went to account level reserve.
Well, Amazon outsources a lot to India, which may follow British customs on this “salute”.
AND $%%$$#%$
I just noticed they canceled the payment last night and it went into some dark hole at Amazon to be released at some future date.
#$%$%%$$%
Amazon milking us for all they can get and the MODS had the audacity to remove this image as being ‘off topic’ a week or so ago…
Same here……everything went into account level reserve. Now what? This GD site…
Well I wonder how much more Amazon is making by holding the funds for an additional 2+ weeks, while screwing us over.
My current disbursement for this period is 0.00
Once you are transition and start seeing your orders in Deferred Transaction, the following will help you understand what is going on (it was a learning curve for us).
When you are looking at the Deferred Transactions …
A (Date) = the date the order was shipped on
B (Estimated Transaction Release Date) = this date can (should) change but initially will show up as Estimated Deliver by Date (shown on the order) + 7 + 1
1 = an order shipped on 3/23/2026 that has not been delivered so it shows 2
2 = the Estimated Deliver by Date + 7 which for this order would be 4/7/2026. The actual Estimated Deliver by Date on the order was 3/30/2026. The + 7 date would be 4/6/2026 but gets paid on 4/7/2026 (which is really like + 8)
3 = an order shipped on 3/20/2026 and was delivered on 3/23/2026
4 = the new updated Estimated Transaction Release Date of 3/31/2026 (3/23/2026 + 7 + 1).
For most orders, we are seeing delivered orders following the 3 / 4 updated route. There have been a few orders which did not get the delivery update of 3 / 4 and stayed as 1 / 2 (and they were paid out as such).
The further we get past the transition the more consistent that the orders follow the 3 / 4 route.
Once we understood Amazon’s flow, we were able to set up a functional excel sheet to track the orders paid, when future orders will be paid, and allows the tracking of the orders to cross over pay periods. We would consider it semi automatic as it does require some input to make it function (ok for low to mid volume … would work for the big guns but would require more integration from api to make efficient).
I will ultimately know, and share, but I had my Amazon “transition” surgery 2 days ago.
On a side note - All is fine, but my voice is about 2 octaves higher !!!
Back to the transition
I have tons of orders go by First Class Mail - No Tracking - and those are set at 15 days from the ship date. Anyone know if these are paid at 15 days?
And for everyone else - An order WITH tracking - Anyone have a 5 day delivery - Delivered late? Like 8 days. Was the payment extended or paid at 15 days?
It will be paid as Estimated Deliver by Date on the order + 7 + 1 (we say + 1 because Amazon will release on 8th day) … So if Estimated Deliver by Date is the 10th, then the payment will be released on the 18th.
If an order delivery is after the Estimated Deliver by Date (whether it is late or no delivery scan), the order payment will be released (paid) as Estimated Deliver by Date on the order + 7 + 1 (Just like the no tracking orders).
I guess I’m just dense in not realizing this sooner, but DD+7 provides an extra benefit to Amazon I hadn’t noticed till I was in the program as it creates an incentive to choose faster shipping. On many of my products, I’ll get a FedEx 2-Day option priced the same as regular FedEx. I usually try to stay away from FedEx as there just aren’t any good shipping options in my rural area (nearest FedEx store is 45 minutes away, scheduling a pickup comes at a cost, and the Walgreens drop-offs are very unreliable). Now I find myself biting the bullet and choosing the FedEx 2-Day over UPS Ground for cross-country shipping just to get the earlier delivery date.
But if Amazon decides to pay based upon Estimated Deliver by Date on the order + 7 and not the actual Delivery Date + 7, then you haven’t gained access to the money any sooner and have incurred extra cost.
The wear and tare on the vehicle, cost of gas, and time spent wouldn’t be worth the possible 2 day expedition of funds.
Our drive is 35 miles to do either UPS or FedEx. It’s 1/4 of a mile (2 minutes) to drop off at USPS.
I have not said anything on this on the SAS or anywhere, in case the forgot me. Woke up to DD+7 - All AZ fees and shipping on OD (Order Day) this Morning. A small amount is left to be disbursed next Wednesday. I bet new orders will eat away at that. The did add daily disbursement, we never had that been on AZ 13 years or so. Useless it is at $0.
We are at 100% FBA for now do to a facility issue and personal medical issues.
To these points my personal name, not the corporate name the 25th letter (Y) in the alphabet. We woke up to this Crap on the 26th of March. No email or any other notice.
My partner and SO asks, what will the payment be next week on day 7 of 14 on our normal payout plan as has been for 13 years. Yesterday, same answer as always, we will be at XK$ next Wednesday. Not this morning! All overnight and sales on the 25th swept into Deferred and Account Level Reserve. NEVER had a reserve since our first two months on Amazon.
Now I have to go pick up some wine before I tell her.
