Beginning Balance is what was carried forward after a $0.00 transfer on 3/8/2026 (Amazon held the entire $484.93).
Notice in the graph that there are no sales attributed. Those sales are held in Deferred Orders and will not be represented in the sales graph until released (after DD+7 has been met).
The Beginning Balance of $484.93 was the starting Standard Orders > Total Balance until we purchased the $10.63 shipping labels which then reduced the Standard Orders > Total Balance to $474.30 and reduced the Standard Orders > Funds Available from $93.49 down to $82.86.
When Amazon did the payout of $0.00 on 3/8/2026, all of the $484.93 in Standard Orders > Total Balance went into Account Level Reserve for a little less than 48 hours. Standard Orders > Total Balance was $0.00 and Standard Orders > Funds Available was $0.00. Then after we shipped a couple of orders on 3/10/2026, it became what you see above in the 2 images after DD+7.
If you have an Account Level Reserve which changes with orders shipped (variable) and you never have received payment for orders (Funds Available Now) as soon as you shipped, then you may have already been on DD+7.
Note
A little slow in replying as we spent the day in the hospital as the wife was having a procedure done. We have been throttling sales to make sure we had time for her. That made it easier to see and track what Amazon was doing with our account.
I’m scheduled for my Fundectomy on the 12th and I have been removing what little cash is available on a daily basis to mess with Amazon and use their memory banks.
Sales have been miserable and I’m contemplating what the Amazon imposed diet meal planning will look like. Oh, wait – my wife does that. Back to my bag of chips…
This was my screen from this morning and then after I entered tracking numbers. I tried to withdraw a bit early to get it done with but I was able to cash in later on.
You are not on DD+7 yet but have had the privilege of Request Payment option. When DD+7 hits, those amounts in Standard Orders > Total Balance will go into Deferred Orders > Total Balance and your Funds Available will be $0.00. If you don’t have anything in Standard Orders > Funds Available when you’re changed to DD+7, then you will have a negative balance in Standard Orders > Funds Available as your Amazon shipping costs will hit there (if you use Amazon Buy Shipping). We believe that, when that happens (a negative balance), Amazon will charge your credit card for the shipping (like the way ad payments can be set up to charge a credit card). We think we remember on NSFE that some newbies complained about having to pay Amazon shipping before being paid for the order.
And they still are. I don’t use BS because I want all my shipping costs in one place so the only cash flow on Amazon is from sales.
I THINK (always dangerous there) that pay on demand will be there for items marked as delivered.
Now the landmine comment that I had put out there on the NSFE –
Since Amazon has NEVER accepted anything except a signature delivery as ‘proof’ of delivery (and only part of the time even that doesn’t work) I seriously doubt there is any way on the face of the earth any of us will be paid for shipments that do not have a delivery scan.
It appears for now that Amazon will take their fees at the time it is released from Deferred Orders as exhibited in the following image of how Deferred Orders appear on the payment page.
Just processed labels for today’s outgoing. Payment page is updating the Deferred Orders but currently isn’t updating the shipping charges.
This is just a FYI because of round 2 of DD+7 accounts to be moved by tomorrow 3/12/2026 and because of the FABU programming error of last week that took out the site.
I assumed the order payment deferral would begin on the migration date (and any accrued balance from last payout to migration would still be available for the next payout). But I think you are saying your accrued balance since your last payout all gets moved to deferred status on the migration date.
My payout was 03-03-26, migration date is 03-12-26. So far orders since payout are showing as available balance and deferred is zero but I can expect that to change?
I guess this makes sense. I hadn’t considered it. I don’t like it.
Expect everything showing as Funds Available (right now) will move to Account Level Reserve and stay there for about 48 hours (maybe until your 3/17/2026 payout). Then they will move to Standard Orders > Total Balance with Standard Orders > Funds Available at $0.00 (this might not happen until 3/17/2026 … your next payout). Expect 3/17/2026 payout to be $0.00. We had zero orders from our transistion date to the next payout (from 3/5/2026 to 3/8/2026). After 3/8/2026, orders have started to trickle back in with a few each day. As we process these orders, they go into Deferred Orders and the shipping cost is deducted from the Standard Orders > Total Balance and the Standard Orders > Funds Available (if you have anything in there). What you will see on your 3/31/2026 payout will be the rollover amount that you did not receive on 3/17/2026 minus the shipping costs incurred during the period (and maybe anything that makes it through the DD+7 process that was placed in Deferred Orders).
Since they are saying they will use the last estimated delivery date “In the absence of valid tracking data” it really is typical Amazon weasel language and does NOT address the issue when there really is valid tracking all the way through but NOT showing the very last step – actual delivery!
The thought occurred to me that IF Amazon actually did what they imply – pay on/after the last estimated delivery date – it would be an absolute (and shocking) change from the long standing process where they have never even trusted an actual delivery scan if a buyer complained.
To me this sounds like it could open a massive (and expensive) can of worms with Class Action Attorneys looking and drooling. Think about it –
Suddenly Amazon is voluntarily paying for ‘phantom deliveries’ because some date has passed BUT historically they have refused to pay for items that have actual delivery scans.
I smell blood in the water because of that contradictory stance.
And THAT is why I don’t believe any of us will ever get paid if an item does not show a ‘delivered’ scan.
Let the fun and games begin and unleash the lawyers…
I can NEVER complain when someone uses the word WEASEL and AMAZON in the same sentence.
And I totally agree that it does not answer the question of “if your shipment HAS a valid tracking number”, what happens if the shipment is never consummated with a delivery scan.
BUT for me, (and a few others) Those two sentences do clear up a major question for me, as a great deal of my shipments are Under $10 and thus do not have a tracking number. So the absence of “valid” tracking, suggests my orders will still be paid.
Further, I admit I CHEAT. I will fess up here (for the first time - ever) that I only spend $$ on Tracking (Ground Advantage) if the order is ABOVE $15. Yes my VTR is hit hard, (It has been at 65 - 75% for at least 5 years+. Years ago, for a few months, I played the game, spent the $$, and kept it above 95% and saw no increase/decrease in sales or any other effects**
Every 6 months I get an email telling me I am a bad boy, and need to raise it, which I ignore.
With this DD+7, I was (and still am) preparing to sunset 500+ listings that offer my product in onesies, if I am not paid due to a valid tracking number. But that line, indicates that this may not in the end be an issue.
FYI those 500+ listing also offer twosies, 3zs and bulk. So I am not out of the Amazon game yet.
** Edit - If anyone has some insight, if this is WRONG. I will listen attentively, now that I have confessed my sins !!
I still haven’t noticed any change in the way anything looks; but my payout that normally would have been this week (with almost all of it showing prior to 3/5) simply didn’t happen.
And of course, no clarity from the mods on the NSFE about funds prior to the switchover vs. after.
