Your account will be migrated to DD+7 on March 12

Ours was for the 12th, but there have been some reproductions of email Message Bodies stating the 19th over in the NSFE in the last week or so.

As most all of us know from past experience, it’s not particularly unusual for this or that new Amazon Initiative to roll out in waves - but as we also know, it’s not particularly unusual for Amazon deployments to require tweaking once they go live (nor is it unheard-of for such adjustments winding up producing radically-different outcomes from what was originally proposed).

At any rate, I fully epect it take some time for all of the dust to finally swettle.

The same thing happened to me. I received a payout notice but then they withheld it. I had a couple of sales after that but it looks like I will have to wait awhile before I receive payment for them.

Something to note when you are transitioned to DD+7.

Every order we have received since transitioning has an delivery by date that is 7 days after the ship by date. The estimated transaction release date for each order is always deliver by date + 8. It isn’t DD+7 … you have to clear DD+7 so that actual estimated transaction release date is DD+7+1.

So far we have 5 orders that have cleared DD+7+1 but have not been released from the orders that were held during the transition when the payment period was paid out as $0.00. There is no estimated transaction release date to see on the Amazon Payment page as to when these orders will clear DD+7 and be paid.

Look on the Payments > Transaction tab > Deferred Orders link. Those orders will show the estimated transaction release date. The date will be 15 days after the Deliver by Date on the order.

One of the orders was a business customer. That payment is scheduled to be available 31 days after it was shipped. Neither order has been received yet but both are well within the estimated delivery time frame.

My migration schedule was today. All my orders today up until 5:00PST are in “Released Transaction” status and are included in my normal bi-weekly transfer scheduled on 3-17.
So maybe a slow rollout for today’s migration date

Same for me but my transfer date was today. I just received notification a disbursement has been attempted and my updated balance reflects the disbursement indicated (basically everything I would normally get). Until the monies actually hit my account, who knows? Maybe they decided to slow their roll?

What’s the deal with Request Payment? I automatically assume that any new feature is better for Amazon and worse for me. Are they charging a fee or something?

Today was the day (supposedly) and I did a pay on demand withdrawal tonight for the two orders I had to ship today). I’ve been draining the account daily, no matter how little it has been and the one tonight indicates it was successful, with this email –

“Congratulations First Stop Music Shop! Your payment is on the way and will arrive within three to five days.

”On 03/13/26 02:42 PDT, we initiated a transfer to your payment method (bank account ending in xxx) in the amount of $ 27.93.”

Yup, business is booming!

I replied to a seller asking about bad sales with this tonight –

I’m guessing that my issue (and likely the same for many others) is the fact that Amazon is now only showing 2 or 3 offers and then “see other sellers” or “see more options”.

I go out of my way to AVOID being the lowest priced seller in order to avoid all the bottom feeders.

Now my stuff is not visible.

I’m spending a LOT more time adding offers to eBay and other sites since Amazon doesn’t want me to sell anything.

Today I only had two sales but I had 5 on eBay. I expect that type of trend may continue and I will have a lot fewer headaches from fighting Amazon stupidity.

Guessing you have never had payment on demand like a lot of us fossils!

I’ve had it forever and IF it is the same (I was able to do a normal pay tonight) there is no charge. It appears they threw a bone to soften the blow of keeping our money for an extra week or two but I won’t know until they actually fully convert my account…

So to be clear, if I had transactions that are DD+7, they would show up in the bottom field of this report configuration?

It seems to me that for those on normal bi-weekly payouts, the logical thing to do would be to start DD+7 on the first order following the normal payout. But that’s just me being logical

For those last 3 days, then yes.

To see every Deferred Order that has not been released, click the $$$ amount on the first page of the Payment page …

Note: The rollover orders that happen when you are transitioned (held and put into Standard Orders > Total Balance) do not show up in Deferred Orders. Orders after transition and the $0.00 payout held will show up in Deferred Orders.

Seriously? This is AMAZON. What happy pills are you on, and can you send some this way?

Logic ≠ Amazon

EVER.

Null is not zero. Null represents the absence of a value, unknown data, or an empty pointer, while zero is a specific numerical value representing “none”. In databases, 0 is a known quantity, whereas NULL indicates that the value is missing or unknown.

Translation …

Amazonl is not AI. Amazon represents the absence of a value, unknown data, or an empty pointer, while AI is a specific numerical value representing “none”. In databases, AI is a known quantity, whereas Amazon indicates that the value is missing or unknown.

Therefore …

Amazonl is not Logic. Amazon represents the absence of a value, unknown data, or an empty pointer, while Logic is a specific numerical value representing “none”. In databases, Logic is a known quantity, whereas Amazon indicates that the value is missing or unknown.

Our theorem is complete.

“FABU” is a slang, shortened form of “fabulous,” used to describe something as exceptionally wonderful, stylish, glamorous, or, in some contexts, legendary. It functions as an adjective in informal, positive, or sometimes campy contexts. Synonyms include amazing, marvelous, superb, brilliant, and excellent.

We were using it in a sarcastic way.

My first order that was delivered after the 3/5 changing to the DD+7 payment system was on 3/6. $24.61 was put in “Account level reserve”. 7 days from 3/6 should be 3/13 (today), nothing happened all day long, but this evening $24.61 showed up in Fund available - Now, and I also can “Request Payment” for that amount. So I surpose in this case the money did became available to me in DD+7.

You know, you would think that if a buyer leaves you positive feedback, it would release their specific funds immediately, but that would mean actual work for Amazon that would be wanted

No, it would mean that Amazon would just conclude the buyer had left feedback for the WRONG ORDER and ignore it.

You know, the mirror Fun House version of trying to get Feedback removed for something you don’t even sell…

Yesterday, we had $149.31 available and woke up to $140.98 available this morning. And … no this was not a decrease due to purchasing shipping labels. However, the amount from the number of orders that have cleared DD+7 minus our shipping label cost since transition is $93.83.

So we are ahead of the release amount but have no clue on how Amazon is releasing or retrieving the money going in and out of the Available balance other than seeing when the shipping label purchases come out of it.

I don’t want to jinx things, but I was able to do another withdrawal to clear out my account on Friday evening.

Since Monday tends to have more orders stacked up after the weekend (looking VERY THIN at the moment) I’m hoping I will be able to bleed some more on Monday afternoon!
