[Amazon]( Dietary Supplement Multivitamin Products Inactive & Not Accepting Applications to Sell.)
I have seen this several times in the new forums where Amazon is not accepting new otc herbal pills. Can anyone expound on this? This does not yet effect us as we are selling already established brands, but I am stressing about it expanding to effect us as well.
News to me. Judging by the size of the category and the $ Amazon makes off of it in PPC alone, I find it incredibly hard to believe this is true.
If this was really happening, I think there would be hundreds of posts on the NSFE. I would have heard about it from other industry groups I belong to.
Could be user error or some sort of other verification issue with the seller. The post you tagged here is from a brand new seller. I seem to remember getting that same error in 2018 when we started on Amazon. I don’t remember what the issue was though.
Are there any other NSFE links you can share that I can take a look at?

IDK what this is but it looks like a miscategorization issue TBH.

The increase of sudden “request approval” after listing even for established listings is concerning.
I DO agree with you that everyone and their mother shouldn’t be able to sell their AliBaba supplements, but that’s not the case where I’m sitting personally, so I’m watching warily.
If you are all buttoned up, you have nothing to worry about IMO.
I perused the NSFE after I saw your note earlier. All those affected appear to be new sellers.
There’s probably some new bot deployed.
I used to let all this stuff keep me up at night. Now I don’t. Part of my lack of concern is paying way too much money for SAS (strategic account services). Well worth every single penny for us.
Bypassing FBA issues
Getting BS product reviews removed
Getting BS sellers knocked off of Amazon by proving they are frauds
I’ve lost count on how many sellers I have personally caused problems for using SAS. Most never recovered after their listings were removed, or, more often, the BS they had in their listings, or the way they were set up was changed bc of the reports. It’s a lot of work / time / money but ultimately worth it.
I’m always watching…

@HobbesIsMyTiger@Dogtamer Thanks for the info & warm welcome! But now I’m even more confused. Are BSFE & NSFE both in the Seller Central Forums??? Amazon
