Amazon Seller Central Issues 12-8-2024 - 12-9-2024

Amazon Seller Central appears to not be updating.

Printed label 12-8-2024 at 5:24pm CT. Neither the label charge or payment for the order has shown up in Payments > Transaction View after 16 hours.

Orders in pending now for over 3+ hours.

Buy Shipping in Bulk seems to be adding an additional day and the Late Delivery Risk on 2 day handle time orders while purchasing a label through Buy Shipping on the order page can be done without the extra day and no Late Delivery Risk.

Monday in Amazon’s neighborhood …

I also notices, FBA orders from 12/7 are marked as shipped on Manage orders page right now, but “Inventory Ledget” report didn’t show entries for those units as been deducted for shipment. There is only one entry in “Inventory Ledget” for 12/8 (very unusual).

Of course those “shipped” order are not showing up on Payment either.

Well we guess posting on SAS was the magic needed. Within 20 minutes, the pending orders were released and Payments > Transaction View finally updated.

The Buy Shipping in Bulk [Late Delivery Risk] issue still exists.

Nothing new in the Amazon neighborhood…
Every year we expect (and see) issues with delayed transaction postings, shipping glitches, etc during this time.
The year we see no issues with Amazon during the busy times, we’ll be in total shock.

nope seems to be a lag.

No update to the orders we shipped today.

Same here. It’s now 4:17 p.m. Pacific and none of my orders (I’m all FBM) are showing in my balance. I printed a boatload of labels today, too. I have noticed several NSFE threads about this issue pop up on the Seller Central home page.

came here to check it’s not just me. All the orders I shipped this morning are missing from my payments…merry lagmass!

Lots of reports of this on NSFE; some reporting more than 24 hour lag. At least one person reported disbursal not going through as normal, and saying next one will be in two weeks; let’s hope that was something specific to him, and not a systemwide glitch.

NSFE has gone wacky 12-09-2024 about 8:30pm CT … all pages in viewing have lost their layout control …

EDIT
And it is fixed … so Amazon is playing around …

I noticed earlier today when I was pulling inventory that they have drastically changed the Seller App (pulling inventory is pretty much the only time I use it). It’s 2 weeks til Christmas; what better time to start mucking around with stuff???

Yeah, I posted responses on a couple and if I did a quote first I couldn’t type anything in after it.

At least my payments are good now though.

EVERY year Amazon pulls this 4th qu. crap, making changes at the worst time of year, (you know and have seen it as well) and it’s soooooo old. Can they never learn??

Ours are still lagging … today’s shipments are now 2 hours old and still no updates on Payments > Transaction View …

Same here, shipped FBA orders not showing in payments transaction register.

They have to “finish” (seemingly start since they procrastinate) their projects so they can get their year end bonuses.

I went through the same thing and it finally updated. I read a post where someone was told by Amazon that payment would post once DELIVERY was made. I cannot see them implementing this with veteran sellers.

That’s not it … 60% of our shipments this morning now have updated in Payments > Transaction View (after about 6 hours) … still waiting on the other 40% to update …

Amazon holding the payment until after delivery plus 7 days is a policy that is used if a seller is having issues with returns and/or deliveries (and/or other reasons related to a specific seller). The new deferred payment is similar in function but isn’t the same thing.

Delivery date policy

Amazon holds payments for seven days after delivery, plus a reserve period. This policy is designed to ensure that there are enough funds to cover any potential refunds, claims, or chargebacks.

It’s one of the ways they can irritate the sellers and cause harm to them. Why would they ever fix that? (Tongue in cheek).
