Field trip! ![]()
40 miles away and often takes hours each way bc of traffic.
Not fun
Dates confirmed (July 16-17):
Another Amazon Prime Day advertising fail: the social media carousel ads are pulling listing info from “Additional Details”?! Not like actual product titles or anything.
I’d be p!$$ed if I was a Seller paying for Advertising.
It might be a brilliant strategy… curiosity clicking because “WTF is this?”
Heads UP If You Use Amazon Ads During Prime Days
Bids adjustments will be changed for users of dynamic bids - up and down
To help advertisers gain impressions and sales during Prime Day, we’re temporarily allowing bids for campaigns using dynamic bids - up and down to increase by up to 100% for rest of search and product page placements (currently this is at 50%.) For example, a $1 bid will be able to increase up to $2.
Change is limited to:
- Sponsored Products campaigns using “dynamic bids - up and down”
- Ads that appear in “rest of search” or “product page placements”
- Starting the beginning of Prime Day event and through its conclusion.
After Prime Day event has ended, the dynamic bids maximum will return to 50% for rest of search and product page placements.
Sincerely,
Amazon Ads

Sent this to my Ad lead. He had already seen it and brought it up to us (I missed that) because I took a screenshot of this and sent it to him last night.
His response:
“We don’t run any up and down campaigns to significant spend levels. I mentioned this on the call, in relation to campaign bid strategy. Almost hilarious it’s so unbelievable by Amazon. The amount of manipulation they get away with is always something.”
I personally am amused that the media have starting calling competitors’ sales during Prime Day “anti-Prime Day deals” ![]()
No complaints. ![]()
Right but overall have sales been the same or better YoY - kinda outta the loop and need my fix…hit me!
![]()
- “Millions more” Prime members shopped Prime Day 2024, compared to 2023
- “Record-breaking number” of Prime sign ups over the three weeks leading up to Prime Day, with “millions” of new members worldwide
- “Record sales”
- “More items sold” during 2024 than any previous Prime Day event
Since we don’t see actual numbers to make comparisons to prior years, this information is: 1) completely meaningless, and 2) most likely one big fat lie just like everything else Amazon spews out of its proverbial mouth.
One big bunch of
