Brazil Strikes AGAIN - WTF

Website. Yes it is odd they never forced MX. Wondering if that will appear as a result of the current NA Marketplace initiative.

Since your widget shows US as inactive yet it is active, we would wonder if your widget is just corrupted. If you notice, our top 3 are MX CA BR and are inactive with the US active at the bottom.
Your top 3 are also inactive … it seems as if it is trying to reflect the same as ours but with MX dropped from the top thus allowing the US to slip up a notch.

We would just clear the browser and re-look. It appears to be a widget glitch to us and wouldn’t do anything but monitor it right now until the dust settles over the adding of BR to all of the accounts.

I agree it is probably a glitch caused by the rollout and am in ‘wait and see’ mode since my US account is functioning as active. It is that way on 2 laptops, so probably not a browser issue.

“Vacation” doesn’t stop FBA, only FBM. That’s my understanding. I believe @primetime is 100% FBA but could be mistaken.

If all of the above is the case, it doesn’t matter. It is odd that PT didn’t put their account on vacation but it is…

Then his US account could be on vacation and there would be no impact since they are 100% FBA.

MX missing still seems to be widget glitch.

Missed that part. Weird for sure.

I agree; I suspect that it’s an side effect arising from the rollout of the newly-redesigned MYS (‘Amazonese’/‘Amazonish’ for “Manage Your Services”) Dashboard @ https: //sellercentral.amazon.com/account-information/mys.

No I am both FBA and FBM, both have orders coming through.

Yes, I was shocked to find it

Not 100% FBA.
MX has never been on my list.

That’s purely insane…

I get the hesitance in not wanting to turn it off vacation (touch anything). I wonder if you are somehow missing out on sales because of this though???

Are your sales what you consider to be normal? Any steep decline in sales in recent times that was consistent and to the present?

Actually it looks like all accounts are on vacation, they all say inactive; but I am hesitant to mess with it at all as long as my .com account is functioning as active.

It is generally a slow sales time of year for me, except for the recent Instagram influencer spike which lasted a lot longer than I expected and is naturally declining some but still going!

For now I will maintain the wait and see stance while keeping a close watch on it.

We have had the Brazilian account linked to us for more then a year. I recall posting about how I think the decision to link Brazil to the NA involved throwing darts, a map, and several bottles of rum in a board room in Amazon.

The moderators removed it, as I recall.

I still stand by my post. Nothing else makes sense. The Brazilian mail system is as bad or worse then Italy’s according to what I have read. Not that we sell internationally anyways, but if we did, there are several countries that would have to get by without us.

Add to that the fact that packages to Brazil are all supposed t have CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Fisicas) – buyer’s tax number – which is just about never provided.

I did not know about that.

REMINDER: Do not even ASK about closing the BR marketplace.

I recently saw the Brazil account popup. I noticed a red flag regarding payment. The Forums suggested going Vacation mode, which I immediately applied to Brazil. Unbelieve the Chaos that Amazon has unleashed on 3rd Party Sellers.
