Can I get your opinion on this POA?

I have - just last week, after providing original invoices from the manufacturer with the pricing redacted. Not sure if a virtually perfect track record and a brand that’s relatively well known, but not huge, were the key factors here.

Can I ask what you mean? Did you have to provide an invoice for books you were already selling and they accepted it? Did a violation trigger this request?

No, sorry, this was for an office product brand that I requested permission to sell.

When you submitted the invoice, did you get it immediately bounced back by the bot saying it’s not acceptable, and then have to manually submit it through the case log? Or did it actually approve you through the original submission?

No; I got a message saying that the request was being reviewed, and it was approved two days later.

Congrats.

Anything in particular you can share in terms of what worked?

That may help another community member in the future.

I don’t believe she knows exactly what did the trick, but she could list out what all she did.

I am honestly not sure. I had receipts that I had submitted. Those were rejected. I ordered the same title from the publisher and submitted that. That was also rejected. The date was after the violation but i was hoping that would work. It didnt.

I had no option to appeal or submit a plan of action so I emailed the chain of events.

Usually, it doesnt really matter why you are in the situation your in. But I was hoping it would. I submitted that to seller performance. Also rejected. Sent it again and requested it to be escalated. Rejected again.

I had a previous case still open with seller support that had been escalated to the leadership team. I decided to message them. They said they were working with the internal team to try and resolve this.

I never heard from them that they were able to resolve it.

I had also emailed some email addresses to try and escalate and I never heard back from them either.

Then I was on the phone with Rosenbaum and segall and as they were emailing me the cost to hire them. I refreshed my email and saw an email from seller performance team that we have reviewed your submission and you may continue to sell books.

I honestly had no idea that was going to come through. And i have no idea which submission did the trick.

As far as chain of events. I explained that I had a violation that i acknowledged in a panic but when I looked into it further that it most likely was misunderstood as an authenticity complaint. I attached pictures of the complaint i had for ncx and the multiple return requests from the customer.

I wish I knew which ave worked in favor so I can help someone else. But I honestly have no idea.

@oneida_books definitely helped me a lot! Answering all of my questions and sharing his knowledge. I definitely appreciate it!

Thank you! I am super happy as well!

I just recently discovered this forum. Definitely wayy better than the amazon seller forums. Everyone is super nice and helpful!

I wholeheartedly agree with your astute assessment, as do many, many other members of the Amazon Seller Community who have found their way here.

The seasoned and savvy forum veterans of the SAS Staff, who created this ‘BSFE’ venue (“BEST Seller Forums Experience”), have demonstrably done so out of the goodness of their hearts - there is as of yet no mechanism for the rest of us to directly defray their expenditures in time and treasure - so I would submit that it greatly behooves us all to ‘pay forward’ the help so-many of us so-regularly receive here in any & all ways that we can accommodate.
