Fun with Wild Animals

Mom is 6, Dad is 5.
This is her second and final litter, her daughter from her first litter is 4 and lives here with us. We should never “give birth” or foster because we get too attached.
So Mom’s retired now will just live her life happily to be loved
and spoiled for the rest of her (hopefully) many years!

I admit, I did want all girls.
The boys of this breed tend to be big bullies. I have several males and at any given moment in the day I find myself breaking up fights more often than I would like.
Girls just are easier (unlike human females

Said every man ever, BUT we do have to consider the alternatives —

Oh my goodness! Congrats :dog:

Porthos posing on the mantelpiece.

He is going to be a big cat. Last week, at six months old, he weighed nine pounds and was 35.5 inches long.

He’s gorgeous  :heart_eyes_cat:

That’s a big and handsome kitten!

Ollie is 7 months old, 38" long and 10.5lbs. He’s enormous and still not fixed. The longer you wait, the bigger they get (Males). We had a 23lb Ginger Tabby (Autumn) many years ago that we found at an estimated age of 1yr that wasn’t fixed when we got him. We had to transport him to the vet in a dog crate he was so big.

Putting off this operation with Ollie as long as possible. He’s been through too much in his short life and is not spraying or doing anything else that makes us want to rush and do it right now.

Stunning!

I had a long hair female with this coloring and these markings growing up; we named her Cream. She was…a lot. What really drove my cat-loving mother to hate her was that Cream would pee in the stove eyes, which wasn’t always evident until you turned them on. The clean up was time-consuming, and the burnt pee smell lingered. :grimacing: Cream escaped one day and never returned–but sometimes I wonder if my mom had something to do with it…

Absolutely gorgeous!
I’m a cat lover can’t ever deny that.
Had cats all my life, persians.
Last one passed in 2003.

Even a crusty ol’ codger like me becomes a sentimental ol’ cuss when new life springs forth.

Judging by the looks o’ things, the precious lil pup on the left in your 3rd pic, apparently satiated (or maybe just lost, or looking for more room to nurse), has already chosen a time-hallowed name:

Rover. :smiley_cat:

Is Ollie to busy to report his recent activities?

Growing like a weed with an IV of Miracle Grow… I think he’s going to be a 20 pounder + when this is all said and done. I’ve got big hands and I can’t even get my hand around his head anymore. He’s getting that “I’m not fixed” male giant cat head.

That face… :heart_eyes_cat:

Mike Myers So I Married An Axe Murderer GIF - Mike Myers So ...

Was out helping the parents with something and had to run to the local hardware store, the store cat was curled up on a $100 bag of grass seed, ignoring the big fluffy bed with toys and blankets it has just out of frame!

Bet that guy or girl is an employee, paid to keep the mice / birds away.

Sleeping on the job.

That made me think of this one:

x

Which makes all their food and vet bills a tax deduction. Brilliant planning.:grin::grin:

It is, you need to collect the sample while they are still living. If you had a frozen sample it might still be possible (though this would likely cost a LOT more, and if they agreed to attempt this they’d probably want you to pay for all the costs involved whether it’s successful or not). Burned ashes are probably beyond recovery.
