Fun with Wild Animals

A friend received this book at a holiday party last week:

I need to talk to Ollie about Tree Safety.

He’s walking around the house In his Christmas Sweater - not kidding, causing havoc as usual.

Nothing beats a snuggle in a pile of blankets:

He actually likes it. He’s the 7th cat we’ve had in the last 27 years. None of our other cats would even think about tolerating a collar.

He’s cool with a collar, a harness to walk outside, and apparently Christmas sweaters.

The house hound has been home for 4 years as of today. So makes him 5-6.

We had lost two pups in 2020, one to old age (16) and one to cancer. We stayed empty for some time just because of the pain. One day we saw a listing and though let’s apply, and a few weeks later he settled into a work from home covid house. Now he owns the place! Lol

Edit to add, he is comfortably lounging on the couch with me

“They’re going to bed soon.”

“Cool. I got dibs on the big fuzzy white one.”

“Shut up. He’s watching us.”

Ollie living his best life on my lap at the moment. Also “airing it out” - sorry about that. lol

Melba got new toys and a new doggie bed for Christmas…

…which the cats quickly stole from her.

Looks like a great doggie(?) bed. Cats are a very good judge of comfort.

Is that ONE cat?

About 1.6 cats.

I think the proper term is “Chonk”

Beautiful doggie. Beautiful kitty.

Well this is sad. Just got back from Church and one of our 2 beautiful white angel fish died. It was perfect 2 hours ago. Never had a fish just drop dead before. Now his friend will probably be gone soon because they need to be paired. A new one will result in fighting and certain death. Too bad.

He / she was about 8 years old.

No need for condolences. It’s just a fish but nevertheless sad.

:fish:

Just got a call from the vet.

…“biopsy report back. The pathologist said it is a cutaneous hemangioma, which is kind of like a blood vessel-y kind of thing. It’s completely benign and it has been completely removed.”

We were 99% sure it was nothing, but we have unfortunately experienced cancer a few times in the past so we just had to be sure.

Speaking of his highness, he just hopped loudly down the steps indicating “I need to go potty!”

Great news!

Flabby cats make good pillows.

Beautiful cats

The ginger cat looks a lot like a cat that I used to have.

They are so fluffy :smiling_cat_with_heart_eyes:
