Apparently, it doesn’t handle rejection very well…
That Geronimo fella in the middle has always been hard to impress.
Love it. But – who is being scored – man or buffalo ?

How did he get out?
He started paddling towards the steps (left in photo) but there was a hooman in the pool already who scooped him up and deposited him on the pool deck.
We call him a life guard, cause he lets us, and the zip code know the dangers of swimming when the primary food providers are in the pool.
I thought dogs liked to swim? Glad he got out safely!
Just a note, the splash of brown above his head, that’s an ear
Another canine who does not mind the water. This one liked it so much he swam 4+ miles to another island. In what is typically a white caping tidal exchange.

He is out of FL and doesn’t (apparently) care about anything that far west.
My daughter had posted his map since she is still seeing them here. I have had a couple around our deck but they are too freaking fast and I haven’t had a chance to capture any pictures or video yet.
One site I looked at hasn’t posted any info on a Fall migration yet.

The robins around here are all fat and slow. They wouldn’t stand a chance of getting one.
Bird migration is in full swing. Check out Birdcast.org.
Here is the forecast for the next few days. You guys out west are pretty much out of luck! Everyone else, beware of incoming bird poop…
