I also haven’t had any positive or neutral.
Feedback % for the past year is 0.
Thousands of orders no feedback. It is beyond time to adjust this stupid metric.

It’s been 9 months for us … so nothing in 2024 … positive, negative or neutral.
The “Your Order” page only has link for “Product Review” and has been that way for a long time. Amazon seems to be using the “Voice of the Customer” as the only input into a feedback scenario so that means Amazon is viewing negative reviews, returns and order issues as internal feedback (customer doesn’t see). Positive means nothing to Amazon in this area (other than no interaction is ok). In addition, Amazon no longer shows or links feedback on seller to the product page. Feedback is only shown when you click to look at the merchant.
We suspect that feedback was too much of a headache for Amazon to maintain as customers put reviews in there which Amazon had to spend time removing when pointed out by the sellers. The flip side is when customers leave feedback on a product which becomes an issue when multiple sellers have listings on the same product. One bad apple spoils the batch and everyone on the listing is hurt (be it their fault or not).
Our thought would be that feedback is being degraded and slowly being retired by Amazon.
It has been over ten years since Amazon recognized the FB system was worthless.
It tested two alternate replacements for FB and garnered loud complaints from sellers who had nothing going for them other than 100% FB and decided that the potential negative PR from dropping the FB system was more than they wished to risk,
Unless EVERY other marketplace which has FB drops it, Amazon is unlikely to. Ebay similarly does not use FB to evaluate sellers. Ebay will not drop it for the same reason.
It is not being degraded or slowly retired, it is mostly being ignored. Its inclusion in the ODR is its only use. Ebay is completely ignoring it, other than providing the lack of FB as a justification of payment holds for new sellers.
Yet the only place one can now find to enter seller feedback is on the seller storefront (customer facing profile) way down at the bottom of the page and not very easily found by the customer. It is the same degrade and retire method as what was used on the product attributes when Amazon was changing product keyword attributes. That was a slow 3 year process that very few even new was happening.
No reason to waste any more effort on it than the minimum.
Ebay has recently changed their leave FB to solicit leaving a product reviewing and making the buyer think they must when they leave FB.
Its day has passed. There is now seller accountability.
Except for themselves where there is no feedback. LOL
True but they are still one of the most trusted corporations in the United States.
This got me to check. I’ve had 13 feedbacks in the last 12 months. Unfortunately, there was a slew of them last July/August, then got a Neg in October. So when that handful of reviews drop off the trailing 12 months, my percentage is going to tank until October.
Oh well, nothing I can do about it…
You can buy a lot of trust with other people’s money. I go back to my previous assertion that there are too many stupid people in this country, to value a broad polling of corporate integrity from the public of all groups.
These people think Amazon is the most trusted company…
We have 12 feedback in the last year. 11 positive, 1 negative. The negative is because an ASIN was changed, and of course we didn’t realize it since Amazon no longer notifies sellers of changes.
On the other end, as a buyer, I have tried to leave feedback for sellers, and literally cannot figure out how to do it. I am not a stupid person, it should not be this difficult.
We’ve had 5-9 feedback monthly right along till this month when there has been a dearth! A "2 "negative last month, a first(shockingly) for us. Supposed underlining throughout and the book never returned. Some idjet expecting us to pander to him due to a negative FB!!
I’ve always assumed we get FB because I hand write thank-you’s/recommendations. Buyers, particularly the older ones, long for personalized service, realize they’re dealing w/ a human, not a BOT!
10 days ago, everything stopped! No FB- not normal for us. Thought it might be vacation time/folks busy w/ activities. During that time our sales have held up(mostly) but swung enormously, sprinkler is either at flood-stage or drought-stricken…
Is this difficulty in leaving FB recent?
We addressed this up thread …
The feedback link is basically buried now in a place that is probably not looked at by customers very often.
From the buyer side – I find the link to enter feedback on the Order Detail page. (naturally only for third party orders)
The first screen you look at (order history) has no link for feedback, but does link to Order Details.
We didn’t catch that one … so there are two ways … (we had only looked at first screen and print order before looking at the customer facing seller profile page… smh).
Still, the removal from the first screen in order history has obviously had some effect.
We get about 35 per month but that’s only because I am a lunatic and request reviews for certain orders.
Sadly, Amazon also asks for feedback and that’s where most of our requested reviews end up.
Feedback #'s are important for running certain promotions (min required to be eligible).
We’re getting less and less feedback each year. It used to be that we could generally rely on 1 percent to 2 percent of customers leaving feedback, but not anymore. We’ve had 81 in the past 365 days, all positive; 5 in the last 30 days; and no negs since May 2022 (fingers crossed).
Even w/ ya’ll’s assistance, I was forced to hunt and hunt w/ my new long-vision cataract lenses. Finally located the tiny leave feedback button at the bottom store-front page. Then on order details page- use to be a blue button, now it blends in w/ the other white buttons. .
Thanks for all ya’ll’s asistance. Never would have found them else!! .
Wanted to mention that we began to change our requests for feedback, stating: click on “Leave Seller Feedback” at bottom of TEXAS EXILE BOOKS storefront page. Within several days, received two FB!
Not rolling in… must locate storefront and I suppose many don’t know how to do that. Guess one could explain but if gets too technical, the buyer’s eyes will roll back in their head…and get stuck!!
Perhaps you could include a link to your storefront?
Will PM you this evening as I am about to leave for Dr. appointment( a too-usual occurrence w/ me, lately) .It’s at the bottom middle in small letters above AMAZON adverts, “Explore More Items”,
