When talking with Postal workers/Supervisors over the years I’ve learned to take what they say with a grain of salt.
He was trying to locate my missing package which shipped July 3rd and is still showing in transit with no updates since July 7th. He mentioned it was shipped GA and said that is why it is taking so long, that GA is a much slower service and typically used for batteries.
I asked why since First Class and GA have been combined and there should be no difference. I don’t even think I used GA on July 3rd, (it didn’t take effect until July 9th). He could just be trying to spout something out to sound knowledgeable and then went on to say that there have been delays and issues with the switchover. He was very nice but not very helpful.

Digging a little deeper I figured out that all the orders showing undelivered are International orders, so they are showing as delivered (on USPS) to the eBay GLENDALE hub, but haven’t reached the customer yet. I just opted into International shipping a few weeks ago.
