Anyone else getting dogs for listings?
We are seeing this too and there are a lot of reports on the NSFE about it too
We checked our listings about an hour ago and everything looked normal.
After seeing this post, we rechecked and none of our listings are not showing and going straight to dog page.
Manage Inventory page looks normal and nothing in Performance Notifications.
Today is our DD+7 conversion day … wonder if that is in play and creating this issue?
Maybe, hard to say. Some of my listings are back up (not dogs) but all my parent/children are gone and no reviews on any listings. I looked at a lot of competitors products and it’s the same for them. Some are dogs, some are up but apparently split out and no reviews on any of them. Who knows? Just have to wait and see.
What ever happened started about an hour ago.
If not DD+7 implementation, then maybe another data base hit in Middle East?
Did their AI do this?
Mine are showing back up in search but clicking sends to dog page.
On the search page, nothing is showing normal … and some are now saying More Buying Choices (1 New Offer). That never was on the listing before as we are the only one selling our product.
I don’t think that qualifies as a conspiracy theory. It’s absolutely plausible.
Which is basically at the heart of all the really good ones. They have to have at least some aspect that even reasonable people will believe.
The other ones that are so far out there that I roll my eyes at are more disturbing because they will get gobbled up and possibly acted on by people with some serious psychological issues.
Anyone want to go check out a pizza place with hidden rooms???
M.O.D.O.K. probably got burned on a purchase from a third party seller and is taking it out on everyone. He’s know for stuff like this.
Yup, some of them. “No Image Shown” for thumbnails on Inventory page was my first clue.
Yep lots of dogs where catalog pages should be.
Parts of some pages are showing. Nothing is buyable, though.
Dog pages. Last sale was 3 hours ago.

The same, but as slow as it has been that is not unusual at all. I only caught the problem because I wanted to check pricing while I added in new items.
HOPEFULLY Amazon is capturing what I am adding. Of course, eBay and another site I am listing the same items on are having no problems. Sometimes it’s beneficial to NOT be the big dog…
Looking at NSFE, in some posts in the hour or so before the dogs came out, there were reports of changes to the catalog pages; apparently, even the most mundane items were showing “Add to Cart to see pricing”.
I suspect something went live that was supposed to be in a sandbox.
While it could be an attack, I would think that an attack would hit the top pages, not just catalog pages. And take down Seller Central as well (which appears fine, but I’m not going to try to do anything today just in case).
